I have a Daniff service dog that I wanted a friend to play with him. I got Tyson that had been military trained and a great dog. However I’m a 72 old retired widower and just don’t have the energy to keep up with him. He is indeed a high energy dog. I really need to find him a great home. Thanks

Story
Meet the beautiful and lovely Valor! This sweet girl has never had a forever home, and is looking for one to call her own. Unlike a lot of Malinois, Valor is good with dogs and cats. She does not have high prey drive and currently shares her foster home with a 5 pound yorkie mix and a dog-friendly cat. In addition to knowing some basic obedience, Valor is excellent in the kennel and is fully potty trained. She’s very smart! While we have not tested Valor around kids, we suspect she would do well around respectful children who are experienced with rescue dogs/shepherds. We have not seen any resource guarding from her with food or toys since being in foster. Valor is not super vocal or high energy, and would make a wonderful project pet for someone who loves the breed but is not looking for a sport or guard dog. Valor’s story is an example of what happens when people get a breed of dog for “the look,” without doing any research into the breed’s requirements. Valor’s (backyard) breeder initially sold her to a person who decided they didn’t want to care for a Malinois puppy. The breeder’s dogs were “too aggressive” to take Valor back, so she was given to another person who had no dog experience. Instead of trying to work with Valor or make her feel comfortable, the person used a broom to beat and shove Valor out of the house - Valor craves human attention and didn’t want to leave! The wonderful HARTT team eventually trapped Valor as a stray. We then transferred her into our rescue, where she has been in foster with our trainer since. Despite Valor’s chaotic beginning, she is an incredibly sweet dog who seeks human connection. Her low confidence contributes to her having some anxiety about being outside, but she has already improved a lot with her loving, supportive foster. Valor needs a dedicated, patient owner who is willing to spend time with her every day to build a strong relationship. She will make a loyal, loving companion to her devoted owner. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MEETING VALOR, PLEASE FIRST FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://pepperspals.org/adoption-application/ **$150 Adoption fee includes: vaccinations, dewormed, spay, and microchipped.

Story
Introducing Poppy, a vibrant 2-year-old Belgian Malinois Bloodhound mix brimming with energy and a keen working dog mentality. Poppy is both kennel and potty trained, though she is not spayed. She seeks a home where she can receive the attention and devotion she craves. Despite her spirited nature, Poppy adores playtime, particularly engaging in games like tug-of-war and fetch. She finds solace in lounging at her owner's feet after an active day.

Story
Name: Carmen Age: 3 years old No small children, dogs or small pets Review Malinois adoption requirements below Howdy, my name is Carmen! Believe it or not I just finished raising 14 puppies! Whew, am I ready to focus on a little "me time". I want to have a person of my own. I will do best with someone who is home a lot. I'm a Malinois and meant to be with my person a lot. We can do so many fun things together - hiking, playing ball, dog sports, going on road trips (I love the car) and just hanging watching tv. I need someone who really understands my breed. I'm not really the right dog to train you about how to own a Malinois. I'm pretty young as you can see from my pretty white shiny teeth! (they tell me about 1 - 1 1/2 years old). I walk well on a leash and not reactive to people or other big dogs or horses. I am not a fan of the little yippy dog types so think cats might fall into that category too. If you can give Carmen an indoor forever home, please fill out our online application on our website at http://www.savingpawsrescueaz.com/adoption-form/ We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. We are an all-volunteer organization. It may take a couple of days to process an application and complete reference checks. Thank you for your interest in saving a life! *****Belgian Malinois Adoption requirements***** The dog you have selected is a Belgian Malinois. This is a breed that has very specific needs for an adoptive home. Because of their need for a high level of exercise, both mentally and physically and their need for ongoing training, only applicants with demonstrated owner/handler experience with this breed will be considered. The vast majority of them are not best suited as family pets, but in homes with experienced handlers knowledgeable of their needs and breed characteristics. We will not place in homes with small children or small dogs/cats. Must be previous owner/handler to be considered

Story
If you want a protective, affectionate, smart, loyal, athletic 3 year old Belgian Malinois, then look no further, that’s me, Chester! This isn’t my first rodeo so I am looking for commitment, someone in it for the long haul. I require you to be a strong person with a soft heart. I need to look to you for comfort and security when I am feeling a bit unsure of myself. I like other girl dogs and maybe another boy if you can take it slow and introduce us properly. I haven’t met any other creatures, but I promise I’ll try to be nice. I will be your true best friend, so come on down and meet me! As with all Malinios he will need daily mental and physical stimulation. He might do well with another dog if properly introduced. He does want to be the alpha of the pack, so it will need to be a stable well balanced dog to make it work. He has been working with Zen training and is doing very well there. Continued training is always helpful for the dog and the new adopter. *****Belgian Malinois Adoption requirements***** The dog you have selected is a Belgian Malinois. Damon is about a year old and we got him early 2023. I have always had asthma, but my asthma has gotten worse having him as well as my allergies. So due to my health, my husband and I had to make the decision to rehome him. He’s a sweet dog who always wants all the love.

Story
Bella is a beautiful and loving 2 year old German Shepard. She loves running, hiking, and her chew toys. I had a baby 6 months ago and being a working mom has limited how much time I can spend with her. I want to rehome her to someone who can be more active with her
