Story
Introducing Poppy, a vibrant 2-year-old Belgian Malinois Bloodhound mix brimming with energy and a keen working dog mentality. Poppy is both kennel and potty trained, though she is not spayed. She seeks a home where she can receive the attention and devotion she craves. Despite her spirited nature, Poppy adores playtime, particularly engaging in games like tug-of-war and fetch. She finds solace in lounging at her owner's feet after an active day.

Story
Name: Carmen Age: 3 years old No small children, dogs or small pets Review Malinois adoption requirements below Howdy, my name is Carmen! Believe it or not I just finished raising 14 puppies! Whew, am I ready to focus on a little "me time". I want to have a person of my own. I will do best with someone who is home a lot. I'm a Malinois and meant to be with my person a lot. We can do so many fun things together - hiking, playing ball, dog sports, going on road trips (I love the car) and just hanging watching tv. I need someone who really understands my breed. I'm not really the right dog to train you about how to own a Malinois. I'm pretty young as you can see from my pretty white shiny teeth! (they tell me about 1 - 1 1/2 years old). I walk well on a leash and not reactive to people or other big dogs or horses. I am not a fan of the little yippy dog types so think cats might fall into that category too. If you can give Carmen an indoor forever home, please fill out our online application on our website at http://www.savingpawsrescueaz.com/adoption-form/ We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. We are an all-volunteer organization. It may take a couple of days to process an application and complete reference checks. Thank you for your interest in saving a life! *****Belgian Malinois Adoption requirements***** The dog you have selected is a Belgian Malinois. This is a breed that has very specific needs for an adoptive home. Because of their need for a high level of exercise, both mentally and physically and their need for ongoing training, only applicants with demonstrated owner/handler experience with this breed will be considered. The vast majority of them are not best suited as family pets, but in homes with experienced handlers knowledgeable of their needs and breed characteristics. We will not place in homes with small children or small dogs/cats. Must be previous owner/handler to be considered

Story
If you want a protective, affectionate, smart, loyal, athletic 3 year old Belgian Malinois, then look no further, that’s me, Chester! This isn’t my first rodeo so I am looking for commitment, someone in it for the long haul. I require you to be a strong person with a soft heart. I need to look to you for comfort and security when I am feeling a bit unsure of myself. I like other girl dogs and maybe another boy if you can take it slow and introduce us properly. I haven’t met any other creatures, but I promise I’ll try to be nice. I will be your true best friend, so come on down and meet me! As with all Malinios he will need daily mental and physical stimulation. He might do well with another dog if properly introduced. He does want to be the alpha of the pack, so it will need to be a stable well balanced dog to make it work. He has been working with Zen training and is doing very well there. Continued training is always helpful for the dog and the new adopter. *****Belgian Malinois Adoption requirements***** The dog you have selected is a Belgian Malinois. Meet Sasha Sasha was rescue from a bad situation. They think she is about 2 years old. She has what they call bilateral straight legs. She can get around very well. She is able to go on walks. She loves to play in the yard. She is dog aggressive, but think if someone was able to work with her and help her. Below are some different groups and links to help with other dogs that have Straight leg syndrome. We are still getting to know her. The vast majority of them are not best suited as family pets, but in homes with experienced handlers knowledgeable of their needs and breed characteristics. We will not place in homes with small children or small dogs/cats. ?? Zack needs a hero ?? If you remember, Zack came to us several months ago with his sister Zoe (who has since been adopted ?), they were trapped by HARTT with several other dogs, all in rough shape. Zack is just under a year and has had a really hard start to life, whether he was neglected, abused or both, we will never know, but it has led him to be very fearful of humans. As you can imagine, shelter life is very hard for dogs like Zack. Zack struggles with fear aggression, a lot of which stems from barrier aggression in his kennel, as his way of telling people to give him space. But underneath that tough exterior, he is just extremely scared. It takes a lot of time and patience for him to warm up to people and become less defensive. Outside of his kennel he is very avoidant of people more than anything. He has made an immense amount of progress, he will walk on a leash now, and trusts a few volunteers with handling and petting him. But nothing will ever be able to help him as much as being in a home. Zack THRIVES with other dogs. He truly turns into a completely different dog when he is playing with another dog. We are looking for a committed, experienced and patient foster home for Zack, with another young, playful confident dog to help him learn about the good in humans. Zack may never be the type of dog to come up for pets and cuddles, but sometimes the magic of a loving home and family can make the world of a difference. Please consider helping Zack ? If you can give Zack an indoor forever home, please fill out our online application on our website at http://www.savingpawsrescueaz.org/adoption-form/ We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. Story
We found Stella in our neighborhood, abandoned at about 6 months old. She is now about 2 years old and we love her so much. She is such a sweet dog who just melts into you when you pet and cuddle her. She is great with our 3 kids and is best friends with our cat and other dog. She is shy, and takes a second to meet new people- probably from her first 6 months of life but is very loving and protective of her family and loves us so much. We are only looking for a new family for our Stella because we just found out our youngest child is very allergic. Stella is very chill. She plays a lot with our other dog but doesn’t love walks when cars are around. In secluded areas- she loves to run and play and fetch.
