Story
This is Nyla bear, she is such a sweet pea & it’s very good at doing her own thing then asking for love when she is open for it. She has the goofiest personality, like running in circles of excitement and pouncing her little feet on the ground. She is a bit of a talker after meeting a husky when she was a baby, she loves to howl when saying hi & good morning to you. Nyla is such an active breed and deserves the best life and care in this world, sadly I’m a young women that has taken on a dog at such a young age unknown of her breed, as time has gone on life has gotten more busy with work and traveling and I can not give her the active life that she desperately deserves. Its gonna be tough to warm up to her but after awhile she will turn into your best friend, she has a dog friend living in the same house hold but growing up it wasn’t easy for them to get along, she can be aggressive at some points but that is simply cause she is more terrified of you than anything.

Story
Hi, I’m Grover, a friendly and fun-loving Malinois mix boy who is looking for a new home. I don’t remember much about my past, but I know I was a stray in Yuma, Arizona until some nice people from animal control found me and took me to a shelter. There, I met some other dogs and humans who were very kind to me. They even arranged for me to get a ride to Phoenix, where I am now staying with the Central Arizona Animal Rescue. They are taking good care of me, but I really want to find a family who will love me forever. I am a neutered male, about 1 year old, and I have been vaccinated and microchippedI love playing with toys, especially squeaky ones, and I enjoy running around and having fun. I have lots of energy to burn off! I am very friendly and get along well with people and other dogs. I am not aggressive or possessive, and I don’t bark too much. I am also very smart and eager to learn new things. I am working on my leash skills and manners, but I need some more practice and guidance. I am looking for a home where I can be part of the family and get lots of love and attention. I would love to have a yard where I can run and play, or at least go for regular walks. I would also like to have some toys to keep me entertained and happy. I don’t mind if you have other pets, as long as they are friendly too. I just want to be your loyal companion and best friend. PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail.   All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis. Story
Smokey is a very active, loving, silly guy. He is good with other animals, but he is very timid around new people. He loves exercise and playing catch. He doesnt do well with soft toys and tends to rip them up, but loves balls and ropes. He is very snuggly and loves attention. Unfortunately living circumstances have changed and I am a single mother now working and not able to provide Smokey the supervision or time he needs.

Story
We adopted this little guy a month ago from the Maricopa County Animal Shelter. We already have two senior Belgian Malinois so we thought it would be a good fit but even after decompression and weeks of bonding, we have concluded that HE NEEDS TO BE IN A SINGLE DOG HOME. He's very sweet and affectionate but is also very jealous and protective when there are other dogs present. He has made multiple attempts to attack one of my senior dogs whenever she comes near me. While we love him and think he is an absolutely wonderful dog in every other regard, keeping him would pose a great risk to our senior dogs that we're not willing to take. We also can't afford the 2-4k we were quoted to work with a professional behavioral specialist. He's healthy, potty trained, loves food and walks and naps in his "man cave" (large 48x30 kennel that we've padded and filled with blankets). Other than the aggression, he's the easiest Mali we've ever met. Not destructive. Rarely even barks.
