Hi I'm Xena! I am a 3-year-old Malinois Mix and I weigh 75lbs. I am a huge cuddle bug but need consistent exercise and stimulation due to my breed. My owner unfortunately has to move and she is unable to bring me but this is what she says about me! I am trained to sit, stay, down, off, guard, shake, crate & will wait until you give me the command to eat my food. I would need a little help with jumping because I get excited but I will learn with consistency. I am house trained. not crate trained due to having extreme anxiety from the shelter but with proper guidance and training I can learn. I am extremely ball and food driven. I am amazing with kids and dogs (but need to be introduced in an open setting with dogs) Cats I haven't been around. I am the best dog when it comes to grooming. Maze is a German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois mix, who I believe is around 3 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. She is a very active, goofy, and sweet dog. She grew up with a 5 lb sassy Chihuahua, an older pit bull mix, and another Australian Border Collie rescue of her age. Maze gets along well with other dogs and loves socializing with them; her favorite places are dog beaches and dog parks. The pet sitter she stays with has other dogs and has communicated that Maze has been getting along seamlessly with them and the other animals she’s been sitting for. She's friendly with people, though tends to be a bit shy when new guests arrive; she just needs a little encouragement to say hello. Once she warms up to someone, she’s all about kisses and cuddles. Maze truly deserves a loving home, especially with someone who leads an active lifestyle, as she has plenty of energy and affection to share. Although she hasn’t had much interaction with young children outside of dog parks, she has been around older kids and has done well with them, as her neighbors were all over the age of 10 and would occasionally play with her. This clever boy already knows an impressive list of commands like sit, stay, down, gentle, and even has release cues like “okay.” He’s bilingual too, responding to both English and Spanish, plus some hand signals! Copper thrives on structure and loves having a job, so he’ll shine in a home that enjoys engaging with him and continuing his training. Like many intelligent working breeds, Copper has a bit of a playful stubborn streak he might give you a “did you really mean that?” look but a simple “What did I say?” gets him right back on track. He also understands when it’s time to relax with cues like “all done” and “enough.” Copper is a medium-energy pup who absolutely loves his ball, tasty treats, and a good scratch (especially his favorite spot his butt!). Meet Alpine, an 18mo old AKC registered purebred white GSD. He has been with our family since he was 12wks old and loves running and playing with our young kids. He loves playing fetch, swimming, playing tug of war with a rope, being taught new commands, and patrolling our property. He would be perfect for someone with a place that needs to be protected and has plenty of space to run. He is good with other dogs and has not experienced cats that we know of. He is healthy and weighs 80 lbs, gaining a few pounds each month as he continues to grow. He has a lot of anxiety and requires a lot of patience and understanding. We are not in a rush to find another home for him and instead we want to have time to make sure he finds a family that will be the best fit for him. He would do well with a family who is able to be fully present with him. We are a military family and it's difficult to travel with his needs.
