Rescued him from the San Diego Humane Society last October. Had him since he was 5 months old and he’s now 1 year and 3 months with his birthday being July 5th. He has all his current shots including rabies vaccination that expires March 2027. He is currently microchipped and neutered . I am pregnant and with my husband being gone all the time for work I am no longer capable of taking care of this pet on my own . He is an overly hyper active dog who needs a lot of play time and attention that I just can’t give him right now. Hopefully his next home will be loving , attentive , and give him all the playing attention he needs and backyard space to run around as he loves to do. I really need him gone without this next week so I am giving him away for free .

Odin is an 8-year-old, eager-to-please Belgian Malinois who would love to spend all day cuddling. His absolute favorite thing in the world is playing endless fetch with his ball at the park or beach. He is an adventure companion who has joined us on hiking and backpacking trips, though he loves resting back in the car. Odin is also great with other dogs. While he is a remarkably sweet companion, he struggles with anxiety in new environments and past trauma with bark collars. Because we are starting our own family, he would be happier in an adult-only home without young children. He is unbothered by adults, but has very little tolerance for toddlers or babies invading his space, which leads to nipping when startled. In a previous incident, a toddler tripped and fell on him and he nipped the child in the face. Odin needs an active, kid-free home with an owner who can manage his environmental sensitivities and give him the secure, loving environment he truly deserves.
