Story
Hi! I’m the goofy little guy who’s always ready to throw down… in the friendliest, puppiest way possible! If there’s another puppy around, I’m already bouncing over like, “HEY BESTIE, WANNA WRESTLE?” I play hard, I play loud, and I’ve got a lot of very important opinions to share while I’m doing it. I’ll happily narrate the whole thing — grumbles, growls, squeaks, and all. It’s part of my charm. But don’t worry, after all the dramatic puppy smack-talk, I’m a total sweetheart. I just have a big personality in a tiny body and endless enthusiasm for fun. If you want a silly, energetic little dude who brings non-stop entertainment and loves every minute of it… I’m your boy! **Puppies this young cannot be left alone more than a couple of hours at a time. Please only apply if you can be home with your puppy.  You like this dog...now what? Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic.  Our adoption team will quickly contact you by phone or email (watch your spam please) to see if it's a match!.  If you are already approved to adopt, please contact your Adoption Counselor and they will help you set up a meeting.  You can also sponsor Tony by clicking here. Story
Hi. I'm Boone! I'm a sweet and gentle 3-year-old boy with the cutest face - that's what everyone that meets me tells me anyway!!  First and foremost and before I tell you all the good stuff  - -  I would love to have a confident dog buddy to live with or one that visits alot. I simply love other dogs and it will help me acclimate to my new home and people. OK, so here's my story:  I was abandoned with my brother and ended up in a scary shelter. My brother was much braver than me and had no trouble meeting people and he got adopted. I was really scared when he left me alone and I just wanted to hide. Then some kind people got me out of there just in time and I've been learning to be brave; and doing a really good job of it, I might add. I like people once I get to know them and it doesn't take me long at all, maybe 3-4 days then we're buds. Once we're buds, I'm affectionate and playful and enjoy the attention. I have never bitten or even threatened to bite anyone, that would not be cool. I even did pretty well with the vet recently as long as my trusted people were with me and telling me it was ok. You see, I'm just a little scared something bad will happen but once I know it won't, I relax. I'm not a clingy boy but I like being around my family. I have not met any cats but I kind of think I would be a little scared of the hissy, spitty things (I've barked at a few......). I would love to find a home that’s calm and quiet, with not too many strangers going in and out. If new people do come over, I'd need a safe space where I can relax. I won’t cause any trouble—I'm just a little nervous around unfamiliar faces and need some time to feel safe. The perfect family for me would be quiet, patient, and understanding, and would give me the time I need to adjust - oh yeah, they would also have another nice doggo to be my friend and confidant (in case you missed that above). I'm not much of a barker, and I’m not destructive either. I may still be a bit scared of some things in the big world right now, but with the right family, I know I can find my way. My foster mom has been taking me out-and-about on walks with other dogs and I think I really enjoy it!!  I walk nice on leash, too. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle guy like me and prefer quiet instead of chaos, maybe we will be a match. I know it won't be easy at first but I will try really hard to be the bestest boy I can.  If you want to give me a chance I will be waiting in Lower Lake in my foster home (or I might be able to meet you in Santa Rosa).  You like this dog...now what? Story
Hi, I’m Sasha. I’m a very soft and sweet girl who looks like a mini German Shepherd — I’m about 55 pounds right now and still young, but I won’t be a big dog. I’m that “just right” size a lot of people love. I’m a little shy when I first meet new people or go into new places. I get anxious and timid at first, but I really, really try my best. Once I feel safe, my playful side comes out and I start seeking engagement and connection. I love treats (especially soft jerky!), but my foster doesn’t lure me with them — they want me to approach on my own, and I’m learning to do that more and more. I allow handling just fine, and my foster was even able to pick me up and place me gently into the car. In the car, I’m very quiet. I just sit up, look around, and take everything in. I love playful dogs! I’ve been great with every dog I’ve met so far, especially the tiny ones who like to bounce around with me. Sometimes I can be a little too forward because I’m still learning how to “speak dog,” but when another dog tells me to chill, I listen right away. I keep my kennel clean, though no one is quite sure if I’ve ever lived inside a home before. I’d do best with a foster who’s home a lot, in a calm, quieter environment, with another nice, confident dog to show me how everything works. I shouldn’t be off-leash for quite a while unless I’m in a fully enclosed space and dragging a long line — safety is really important for me right now. I do come back for treats, though! I’m gently playful with toys and the ball, but I’m still figuring out how those games work. What I do know is that I’ll bond deeply with my person. I’m learning that the world isn’t as scary as it felt before, and I’m already walking nicely on leash and following my fosters wherever they go. I’ve had a rough start with humans, but I’m growing, learning, and getting braver every day. With patience, kindness, and slow, confident socializing, I’m going to become the sweetest, most loyal companion — maybe yours. Story
Hi! I’m Tiny Tina — named because I was so teeny-tiny when I was rescued. I might be small, but trust me, I’ve got a big personality and an even bigger heart! I love being wherever the action is. If my people are moving, I’m trotting right along behind them. I don’t like being out of sight — not because I’m needy, but because life is just more fun when we’re together! I come running the moment I’m called, and I’m already showing great promise for both on- and off-leash training. I’m a happy, peppy little girl who likes (and licks!) everyone I meet. I don’t fuss at all when I’m picked up, and I adore being rubbed all over — belly, ears, you name it. I’ve got a nice bounce in my step during the day, but at night I turn into a champion sleeper. I snooze in my crate from 11:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., and I’m perfectly willing to adjust to whatever schedule my new family has. I’ll probably stay on the petite side for a German Shepherd, with what looks like a lovely medium coat once my adorable puppy floof grows out. I haven’t shown any fear of people or dogs so far. The only time I tucked behind my foster’s legs was when the vacuum started — but even then, I was curious, not scared. Loud sounds? No big deal! The boys at my foster home play drums and guitar, and I just vibe. And when music with male vocals comes on, I tilt my head at the speakers like a tiny music critic. I might be a Harry Connick Jr. fan already. Oh, and full disclosure: I’m a puppy with opinions and a set of very active little shark teeth. I need lots of chew toys of my own so I can chomp appropriately and keep learning good habits. If you’re looking for a sweet, social, affectionate little shadow with pep, smarts, and a musical soul… I think I might be your girl! I'll be waiting with my foster family in San Francisco. Hi! I’m Abby-the sweetest little thing you’ll ever hold — really, I’m basically made of sugar and snuggles. I love to melt right into your arms like a warm, cozy marshmallow. Snuggling is my specialty, and I’ll happily stay tucked against you as long as you’ll have me. But don’t let my soft side fool you — I’ve got a curious streak, too! I love to explore, wander around, and check out all the interesting things in my world before coming back for more cuddles. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving pup who gives the best snuggles and enjoys a little adventure… I’m your girl! **Puppies this young cannot be left alone more than a couple of hours at a time. Hi! I’m Ducky-the goofy little guy with the extra-cute face — the one everyone wants to squish and snuggle. I love to play hard, wrestle with the other pups, and bounce around like a happy little troublemaker. But even when I’m in full goofball mode, I always make time to check in with my people. I’ll trot over, look up at you with my sweetest “Hi! Notice me!” expression, and plop myself right into your lap like I totally belong there. I’m playful, cuddly, and just the right amount of silly — the perfect mix of chaos and charm. If you want a fun, affectionate puppy who keeps you laughing and melts your heart every day… I’m your boy! **Puppies this young cannot be left alone more than a couple of hours at a time.
