Story
Rome and his brother were found together after being abandoned in Richmond, CA, but thankfully their story took a happy turn. Now thriving in foster care in Rodeo, CA, Rome is healthy, confident, and ready to start his next chapter with a forever family. Rome is about 1 year old and weighs around 58 pounds. He’s a Belgian Malinois mix with a sleek black coat that gleams in the sun, soft brown socks, a little white on his chest, and expressive upright ears that are always tuned in to what’s happening around him. He’s handsome for sure — but it’s his personality that really shines. Rome is smart, athletic, and full of joyful energy. He loves being active and would be a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys hiking, running, or outdoor adventures. That said, he’s not all go-go-go — he also knows how to settle and enjoy downtime with his people. He’s crate trained, housebroken, and friendly with other dogs. Like many young pups, his play style can be enthusiastic, but it’s all in good fun. Rome is very treat-motivated and eager to learn, making him a joy to train and bond with. At home, Rome enjoys good food (chicken, duck, and salmon are top-tier in his book) and even appreciates some background music — rock and roll is his favorite, though he’s willing to humor a little country now and then 😉 He’d love a home with another dog to play with, especially one who can match his energy. Rome is looking for a family who’s ready for adventure, laughter, and lots of love. In return, he’ll be a loyal, fun-loving companion who brings heart, happiness, and plenty of tail wags into your life.

Story
Meet Charlotte: a young, sweet Doberman mix with a love for life! Despite her double FHO surgery, she hasn't lost her zest. She went to foster to heal and here's what the foster family told us about her: Charlotte is such a sweetie! She got along great with our two small dogs and when meeting other dogs, she just wanted to play with them. (We worked on her being less mouthy during dog playtime.) She knows "fetch" and "leave it". We walked her a lot due to her surgery. She enjoys walks and was comfortable with up to 30-45 minute walks. We did have to watch her closely on walks because she likes to put everything into her mouth! Charlotte loves squeeky toys, meeting people and is crate and house trained. Overall, she's a lovely dog and will make a great addition to her new home. ***ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED*** Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 44.6 Age: 0yrs 10mths 2wks

Story
Archie is a handsome German Shepherd whose journey hasn’t been easy. Like his friend Hazel, Archie was pulled from a shelter with the promise of safety—only to be abandoned when the same rescue failed to follow through. Through no fault of his own, Archie was left in limbo until Love’s Legacy Rescue stepped in to make sure he wasn’t forgotten. Archie is everything people love about German Shepherds: smart, loyal, and eager to bond with his people. Despite the uncertainty he’s experienced, he remains resilient and ready to trust again. With structure, patience, and love, Archie has all the potential to become a deeply devoted companion and lifelong best friend. Now safe and supported, Archie is looking for a forever home that will give him the stability he’s been denied and the future he deserves. If you believe in second chances and are ready for a loyal companion, Archie is waiting for you through Love’s Legacy Rescue.

Story
Junior is a handsome cream-colored shepsky with a gentle soul and just the right sprinkle of puppy charm. He may still be young, but he’s already showing what a well-mannered, thoughtful boy he’s going to be. Junior is crate trained and potty trained, and he does great with his routine — happily heading outside to do his business and then returning calmly to his crate. He’s still getting the hang of leash walking, but he’s improving and taking it all in stride. Outside, Junior likes to do his own thing, exploring at his own pace with curiosity and confidence. At home, he’s the perfect balance of playful and relaxed. Junior loves to play and soak up affection, but he also knows when it’s time to wind down. When things are calm, you’ll find him happily chewing on a bone or entertaining himself with his toys. He has a wonderful ability to respect boundaries and settle himself, which makes him a joy to have around. Junior would thrive in a home that’s ready to guide a young dog as he continues to grow, learn, and blossom. With his loving nature, good habits, and sweet personality, he’s ready to be someone’s loyal companion and best friend.
