Link is a 6 year old Belgian Malinois and German Shephard mix. In his older age, Link does not like our other dogs anymore and is wary of other people. Now that we have kids he is growling at them and I can no longer trust him. He’s a good dog who listens well and has good recall, just can’t be trusted around children.

Story
Tex was a Miami Dade Animal Shelter survivor from the euthanasia list. He had a home for two years where he enjoyed hikes, car trips around the country, a furry companion. Then sadly, his owner lost her home and Tex lost his family. He started acting out and his owner couldn't handle him anymore. Tex is getting the best training to deal with his issues and is doing amazing! Tex has been through a lot and deserves someone who will continue with his training. He's a great boy!

As a result, she spends much of her time in a crate and isn’t able to get the exercise and enrichment she needs. Sandor is a very friendly and social guy. He loves attention and to hang out with his family. He is dog friendly, and we think he would be okay with older kids. No cats or small animals. He is medium energy and loves to carry his toys around. Sandor is crate trained, knows basic commands, walks nicely on a leash, likes treats, is non reactive, and does well in the car! He's a wonderful guy and would really love to have a home of his own. Sandor doesn't need a Malinois savvy home, but applicants should understand the breed.

Although Meili may be shy initially when meeting strangers, she continues to make great progress especially when it is done calmly and slowly. This brindle beauty is eight years young and loves taking walks in quiet places without lots of activity and commotion. Although she walks well on leash, it is suggested to use a harness which gives her added security and also helps the handler with any potential pulling. Meili is not interested in playing with dogs, but does fine walking with other mellow dogs and has participated successfully in a six week agility session with other leashed dogs. She adores car rides and soft music and would make a great travel companion. She is very food motivated and has been learning the “wait” command as she anticipates that special treat. Once she trusts you, she will be a faithful companion and will enjoy being close and lying by your side. She loves to watch you with her soulful eyes and the tip of her tail moves joyously when you speak to her. Dude was found as a stray in Hardee county, where he was cared for in a neighborhood. The people caring for him were moving so they got him fully vetted and brought him to our rescue. Dude LOVES his ball and to play fetch. He also will fetch the ball into water. After about 20 minutes of playing he likes to relax with his ball. He’s a Velcro dog and loves to be with you and will follow you room to room. He’s a smart boy, who loves adventure and car rides. He would be your adventure buddy.
