Hi there... my name is Rhonda <br/><br/>Im a 7-year-old Malinois mix with a gentle heart and an old-soul kind of calm. My favorite place to be is right next to a friendly human-leaning against you while we watch the snow fall or the world go by together. I dont need much to be happy&#44 just good company and a cozy spot to share.<br/><br/>I absolutely adore people and will gladly rest my head in your lap while youre watching TV or working on the computer. Im affectionate&#44 but never demanding-Im perfectly content just being close and soaking up your presence.<br/><br/>When it comes to other dogs&#44 Im picky&#44 so I would love to be your one and only companion at home. On leash&#44 I can be a little strong&#44 but Im a quick learner and would love to do some obedience training-it sounds like a great way for us to bond together (and Im very treat motivated!). <br/><br/>Im not in a rush. Im here&#44 waiting patiently for my person-the one Ill call my best friend. Could that be you? What are you waiting for?

Story
Dune is an appropriate 4 yo male Belgian Malinois. He is fixed and house trained. He has been with our family almost a year. We love him dearly and he is wonderful with my teenage children. Dune does great around other dogs his size or slightly smaller unfortunately Dune does not do well around small dogs or cats. We are unable to keep him because our neighbor has a smaller dog that Dune has ran after and scared the neighbor. Dune has never bit or injured any person or animal since he has been with us. To keep the peace with our neighbor we have made the difficult decision to re home Dune. Dune has a wonderful personality and would do great with a family that has land and other large dogs.
