Because of this, Kenny will need a secure environment and an experienced adopter who understands the needs of working breeds.He thrives with structure, mental stimulation, and regular training, and will do best in a home that can keep him both physically and mentally engaged. Hi, I'm Mark: Young, single, male with severe anxiety issues, looking for someone wanting a big, soft-hearted companion to chill with. I will pretty much be your shadow once I find you and I will make you happy to call me your own. I will contribute the following in exchange for a place to call home: I will bring you joy every time you give me a treat. (I take medicine every day for anxiety) I will lick the plates and bowls clean so you don’t have to spend so much time doing dishes. I promise they will be spotless. I will let you know when a person comes into our yard, knocks on the door; or even if they just happen to walk by our house and look at us, I mean you never know what they might be thinking. In return I would like a secure place to sleep - with you is my favorite place. I also really feel good on the couch or the big chair. A bowl of water and a bowl for food. I will need a promise to take me for walks and a fenced yard I can run around in. I also loved the dog park I went to. It was great fun! Cats? I don’t really care Chickens? They look fun but not worth chasing Children? I absolutely love the two littles that I live with now. One is 7 and one is 5. They play with me and it is so fun. Other dogs? It will take me a while to feel like they like me, but then we will be good buddies. This is the most important part - it will take me longer than usual to be comfortable with you. I will be very shy until I find my person. This 'person' is the one who takes the time to know me and read my nervous signals. This person will know that I get scared very easily and will take extra steps to get around the scary things. I really want to find my forever person. Story
Ziva was gotten as a newly weaned puppy and has been with the same family. She is now 8 months old and full of energy and play, like all young dogs of this breed. The family has a 4 year old, 2 year old and a newborn and underestimated how strong and playful this puppy wants to be. They sent her to obedience school in hopes to learn how to work with her, but their work and time schedule is not enough for this very energetic and affectionate dog. They love her to pieces but know she needs more than what they presently have to offer.
