Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.3/22/25 Update- Zora is still available. She is still living w/ the elderly lady who took her and her littermates in. This picture of Zora is not current, so she's grown since this photo was taken. We will try to get new pictures soon.   10/21 Zora, Maud, Klaus, Lars,  Edda, and Petra were born to a stray dog who has been staying in the same area for several years. This is her 4th litter. People in the neighborhood feed her, but no one can seem to catch her to have her spayed. We didn't find out about this situation until last week, when we were contacted by an 86 year old lady who is the one taking care of these pups. The mama dog brought these pups up to her house when they were only a few weeks old, and Ms. Fontaine has been trying to find a rescue to help with them since then. Unfortunately, all rescues in our area are overwhelmed and no one was able to help her. I went over to meet and vaccinate the pups last week. They are 5 months old. They are very scared and timid. Ms. Fontaine is able to pet all of them and even allows them in her house. They love her, and she loves them, but we are all afraid with her age, these pups are creating a fall risk for her. They do not jump on her, but wec are worried about her tripping over them. We would love to move them to other rescues if anyone knows a rescue who could take 1 or 2. They are also available for adoption, but adopters will need to be aware that they will definitely be a project. They will take a long time to gain confidence and build trust. They are NOT aggressive at all. I was able to give them all shots with not even a growl from any of them. They just hide and tremble. I do believe they have potential to be good pets, but it is going to require a lot of patience and work.  If anyone is interested in giving one of these pups a  let us know. We are working on getting them all fixed so they wont continue adding to the population. We will also continue efforts to trap the mama dog so we can stop the steady flow of pups.  We are all so overwhelmed. And it is next to impossible to find homes for dogs like these. Spayed/neutered UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and started on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.  Please consider giving one of these babies a good home. They will be so loyal and loving. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Story
So apparently we are Georgia peaches :) I mean, we r named after Georgia cities :0 And of course, Georgia is known for their peaches and their starry skies... and we agree that we are just like them! Our story starts much like so so many others in the south.... we were dumped at about 8 weeks old in a median and boy were we scared!! Luckily the lady who found and saved us was going to the exact location daily to feed/water and try to catch two adult dogs who had been hanging out there for almost a year :( SO, she was very very persistent and got the rescue to take us and we were caught and brought straight to the rescue... and we have been here ever since. Our foster mom has been working hard to get us more comfortable with people and being held and loved and we have made LOTS of progress!! We each have our own personality, much like the cities we are named after...... Savannah is a gorgeous blonde peach, she has a shyness to her but once she knows who you are her sweet ways will win you over :) Wrens is sister number two, she is a tall glass of sweet tea, dark tea colored with a playful and silly demeanor. She wants to be loved and is learning to express that more every day... and FINALLY Tybee is the little brother, he looks pretty different than his sisters so we call him the brother from another mister :) Ty Ty is a really really sweet lowrider who loves to be kind of naughty at times (he drags his foster mom's shoes in the yard all the time!!) Any one of these pups would be fantastic, each one will be best with another dog in the house- a calm and confident dog to play with them and to help them acclimate to their new homes :) Don't wait too long, these three are really really Southern pups who will charm their way into somebody's hearts ;) Hopefully yours! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Rainier – A Spirited and Loyal Companion! Rainier is a stunning 7-year-old Belgian Malinois who may have a little seniority in age but still has the energy and zest of a much younger pup! This incredible girl has so much life left in her and is eager to find a forever family that will cherish her. Rainier has been treated for heartworms and has fully completed her treatment. To ensure she stays protected, several months of heartworm prevention will be included with her adoption at no additional cost. She is house-trained, crate-trained, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccines and preventions—completely ready to start her next chapter! With a strong prey drive, Rainier takes her role as Squirrel Patrol Enforcement Officer very seriously. While she’s not the best match for a home with cats (she finds their zoomies irresistible to chase), she’s fantastic with kids and gets along well with other dogs, often showing a sweet and submissive side in canine company. Despite her age, Rainier is still full of adventure and would make an excellent companion for someone looking for a loyal, fun-loving, and devoted dog. If you’re searching for a faithful friend with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Rainier is ready to meet you! Submit your adoption application today—this wonderful girl is waiting to brighten your life! 🐾❤️ $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $450 Out of State Fee (includes transport to your area)
