PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.1/17/26 Im Nora! I'm 8-9 weeks old. My mom is a stray Belgian Malinois that some nice people have been feeding and trying to take care of. My dad is another neighborhood stray and he's a tri color mixed breed. My mom is leary of people and even though she has claimed a lady in the neighborhood and will take treats from her, she won't let the lady touch her. I don't know because the lady is really nice and she gives us babies lots of love and pets and we really like that! We don't have our mom's shyness at all- we haven't learned yet that some people aren't as nice as the lady who feeds us. I hope we don't ever have to learn that because I really like people and don't want to meet any who aren't nice to me and my sisters. Anywayyy. I'm a smart little girl like my mom and I really need a family who will invest some time into training me so I can grow up to be the best I can be. I want to learn stuff really bad, and I want to play all the time. So my new family should be able to give me lots of play time and exercise. I've heard the rescue lady talking about maybe my dad's genes helped mellow out my mom's and that us pups seem to be a good mix of mom and dad. My mom is a hard worker, keeping watch over us kids while the rescue lady was over taking our pictures and getting to know us, and Dad was taking a nap the whole time. Im excited to find a family of my very own and the rescue lady says she's gonna help make that happen! I cant wait to meet you! Be on the lookout for my sisters- Janice, Holly, and Denise. Spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Nora is located in Arkansas. She can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message us or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. Story
Introducing Roxy! What’s the first thing you think when you see Roxy? “Whoa… those are some crazy eyes.” Same. But trust us those eyes have seen a lot. Eyes that came minutes away from being euthanized. And now? They suit her perfectly, because Roxy is crazy in all the best ways: - Crazy smart Roxy has classic puppy energy and is still learning how to channel it but in a short time she already knows sit and lay down, is great in a kennel, and is mostly potty trained. With continued training, we’re 100% confident she’ll be an incredibly smart, loyal best friend for an experienced owner. - Crazy friendly Cats? Dogs? Kids? Men? Women? Yes to all. She can be a bit of a bull in a china shop, so she may not be ideal for very small kids but she truly loves everyone she meets. - Crazy athletic She walks well on leash, hops right into the car, and is ready to be your adventure ride-or-die. Hiking, running, exploring there’s no active hobby we can imagine that she wouldn’t love doing right by your side. So if you’re looking to adopt a high-energy, fiercely loyal best friend, in the wise words of TLC: “Don’t go chasing waterfalls.” Go adopt Roxy instead. She’s crazy. She’s sexy. She’s cool. And she’s waiting for her person. Roxy is being fostered in Houston Texas but is available for adoption many places across the country. Adoption fee includes the cost of transport. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DSTR/Dog
