Story
Marley is our beautiful belgian malinois mix who is currently seeking her new forever best friend. She will be the most loyal friend you could ever ask for and would love to accompany you on all your adventures in life. She has been fairly mellow while staying here with us but she is happy to go on walks and is already a very polite walker! She listens very well and seems like a fast learner. Even though she has been very mellow so far she will still need a good amount of exercise to keep her content. We think she would do fine in a home with other dogs and she used to live with small children but she may be better off with kids 12+, however this isn’t a must. Marley is a true sweetheart and she will bond with whoever's lucky enough to end up with her in no time!   **Previous bio from 2021** Marley is a very sweet little puppy. She came to us from Puerto Rico, nervous a nd looking for someone to give her love. Marley has warmed up to us all and loves t o play and cuddle. Marley is great on walks a nd would love to be included in everything you d o. She does get along with other dogs, it may   take her a minute before feeling comfortable but  then she is in full play mode and she is also good with children!  Marley has the smarts and the looks  that will Make you fall in love with her! If you are looking for a well behaved pup, she is the one for you!   APPROXIMATE WEIGHT:  58 lbs. ESTIMATED DOB:  03/23/21 GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS: yes GOOD WITH KIDS:    12 and up preferred GOOD WITH CATS:  UNKNOWN REQUIRES A FENCE:  prefered ACTIVITY LEVEL:  ACTIVE LIKES TO VOCALIZE: some SPECIAL NEEDS:  no BREED EXPERIENCE NEEDED:  no APPROPRIATE PLACEMENT FOR 1ST TIME DOG OWNER?  no  FREE OBEDIENCE TRAINING IS OFFERED WITH ALL DOG ADOPTIONS &#226&#128&#139Please note that we are often asked if dogs are "house trained".  The dogs are in fact living in a kennel environment during their time with us.  Even if they have previously lived in a home and been trained - the stress of the change and the new home can sometimes cause regression and require some additional training.  We feel that it's best for all adopters to be prepared for this possibility.  Visit our adoption page for details about our process, and to fill out an adoption application.  All animals come spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped.  If the animals age or health prevents any of these from being completed prior to adoption a voucher is issued for the services to be performed.  If you have any questions about the animal, or our adoption process, please email adopt@littleguild.org.  The Little Guild is a 501c(3) federally recognized non-profit organization devoted to saving the lives of homeless pets.  February 3, 2026, 2:56 pm

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.I'm Janice! I'm 8-9 weeks old. My mom is a stray Belgian Malinois that some nice people have been feeding and trying to take care of. My dad is another neighborhood stray and he's a tri color mixed breed. My mom is leary of people and even though she has claimed a lady in the neighborhood and will take treats from her, she won't let the lady touch her. I don't know because the lady is really nice and she gives us babies lots of love and pets and we really like that! We don't have our mom's shyness at all- we haven't learned yet that some people aren't as nice as the lady who feeds us. I hope we don't ever have to learn that because I really like people and don't want to meet any who aren't nice to me and my sisters. Anywayyy. Im a smart little girl like my mom and I really need a family who will invest some time into training me so I can grow up to be the best I can be. I want to learn stuff really bad, and I want to play all the time. So my new family should be able to give me lots of play time and exercise. Ive heard the rescue lady talking about maybe my dad's genes helped mellow out my mom's and that us pups seem to be a good mix of mom and dad. My mom is a hard worker, keeping watch over us kids while the rescue lady was over taking our pictures and getting to know us, and Dad was taking a nap the whole time. Im excited to find a family of my very own and the rescue lady says she's gonna help make that happen! I cant wait to meet you! Be on the lookout for my sisters- Holly, Nora, and Denise. Spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.  Janice is located in Arkansas. She can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message us or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350.
