However, it's important to note that she can be selective with other female dogs and visitors. Peanut Collins is a big-hearted boy who has been patiently waiting for his forever home for over a year. Peanut is a 4 year old Belgian Malinois mix weighing approximately 85 pounds. He has a big personality and plenty of opinions that he isn't afraid to share. Peanut is: Dog friendly Cat friendly Potty trained Leash trained (though he might pull if he spots something exciting) Loves walks, runs, and playtime – especially tug! Not suitable for homes with small children Requires a secure 6-foot fence (or consistent walks) – he's an athletic boy! Peanut takes a little time to trust new people, but once he trusts you he’ll be your most loyal companion. He’s affectionate, goofy, and loves attention. That said, he has a stubborn streak and he's smart enough to know what he doesn't like, so he’ll thrive with someone who understands working breeds and appreciates a smart dog with an attitude. If you're an experienced dog person looking for a fun, high-energy companion with a big heart and bountiful personality, Peanut might be for you. Django🤎 Django is the male—substantially larger than his sister. He’s super playful but incredibly eager to train and please. He’ll go out and and run around the yard with her, then come right back, sit in front of you, and wait… he's ready for sure 🤎 This boy is an open book, just waiting for his pages to be written. Django is going to be a big boy, and his presence will be known by his gorgeous, raw hunkiness 😉 His calm demeanor will make him an incredible partner—very typical of the breed with their sensitivity and deep desire to connect with their person. This boy will not disappoint 💙 He’s treat motivated (huge plus), eager to be part of something meaningful, and bonds quickly. He does fine in the crate after a few minutes—though he throws a brief fit at first 😅 He’ll get it… he just firmly believes he belongs in the center of all things. The loyalty and connection this breed thrives on is what makes them such incredible working dogs. Their ethics often outperform their two-legged leaders 😳 They thrive on excitement, positive energy, and strong connection—which fuels their work ethic. Django will bond deeply with his people and will literally do anything for them. It’s written all over his DNA. Now don’t get me wrong… his crazy is absolutely in there 😅 It just hasn’t been fully unlocked yet. And I think I’ll leave that to the new adopter 🤣 Crash🩷 Now… his sister. Story
Meet Ranger, the intelligent and active Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and boundless energy. This handsome boy is a fast learner and has mastered essential commands like sit, down, wait, and shake. He's so clever that he tackled a level 3 puzzle on his first try! Ranger is a well-behaved and well-trained pup, making him a pleasure to have around the house. He's house trained, crate trained, and shows no signs of destructiveness indoors. However, he does experience some separation anxiety when his human leaves the house, which is why he's kept in his crate during errands. But don't worry, when he's playing in the backyard with his furry friend, he's perfectly content and doesn't exhibit any separation anxiety. Ranger is an active boy who loves going on walks, and he'll gladly accompany you on all your outdoor adventures. While Ranger is intelligent and affectionate, he can be barrier reactive, meaning he may react when he encounters certain barriers or boundaries. Patience and positive reinforcement training can help him overcome this behavior. This is very typical behavior for both breeds and he absolutely has to be adopted into a Mali/GSD knowledgeable family/ Ranger was in pretty rough shape when rescued and the vet initially thought he had an intestinal disease. Nothing was definitively diagnosed but the vet believes he has small intestinal issues. He is on a folate vitamin daily and will just need annual lab work and a high quality RAW FOOD diet. Ranger's charm and charisma shine through in the photos and videos provided, capturing his playful and loving nature. If you're looking for a smart, active, and affectionate companion, Ranger is the perfect match. Give him the love and care he deserves, and he'll reward you with loyalty and companionship like no other.
