Meet Loca! Loca came to us from our shelter partner in Puerto Rico, El Faro. She was adopted out to be later return back to us due to no fault of her own. Loca has been patiently waiting to find her perfect person. She's a very sweet and cuddly girl, giving incredible hugs to those she loves. She is a typical Belgian Malinois, she has a lot of energy, but with some exercise, she quickly calms down. Loca loves to play ball and is very gentle when playing. She likes to have something to do and is active. Malinois are very different from other breeds. They require a job to do to be happy and manageable. One of the extremely smart breeds, malinois can be a handful if you are unprepared. They want to please and want to work. They will find their own amusement if not directed. Please do your research on this breed before applying. An appointment to meet her is required. Your application will be reviewed and screened by our director. Lucas is a very sweet boy. He was pulled from a hoarding situation. He takes a little bit to warm up not much. 2 days after I got him from the hoard he became my best friend. He currently goes out in the play yard with 2 other dogs. A female and male. I would suggest older kids just because he has not had much exposure. He is a little nervous with men but I do feel again with the right exposure he will flourish. It's just a bunch of gals here working with all the babies.
