Story
MEET TRIGGER! This handsome Belgian Malinois is seeking his forever. Trigger is simply, as his foster mom puts it ... "the smartest dog I've ever met!" Trigger LOVES his humans. He LOVES his exercise (in fact, he is an EXPERT runner, keeps pace, doesn't pull, a GREAT running partner!). Trigger LOVES toys and can entertain himself for hours. He LOVES the water, swimming, splashing ... as long as it's wet. Trigger's ideal home will be one that loves and cares for him of course, a home committed to him forever. A home that will give him the daily sufficient exercise he requires to be happy and balanced. A home that understands he needs a strong handler, someone who is firm and confident and knows, loves and respects the breed. Trigger can be with another dog that is calm and submissive (intros always needed). Trigger is about 3 years and weighs 55 lbs. He is UTD and neutered. He is house and crate trained and not destructive in the home. Have questions? Want to visit Trigger? Please contact reboundhounds@gmail.com and his rescue will get right back to you, thanks! TRIGGER IS IN GREENFIELD CENTER, NY

Story
We rescued Sidney from a horrific shelter in Memphis, TN. When we got him, he was skin and bones and had some barrier aggression issues (who knows what horrors he suffered there) It didn't take long for Sidney to realize he was now safe and could start letting down his guard. Sidney Poitier has filled out and is truly a stunning dog. Sidney is about 2 years old, and is at his healthy weight of 80 lbs. Sidney is a very intelligent fellow, he learns quicky and is anxious to please. He will do well with a job and/or a lot of stimulation, long walks and hikes. He will do well with an experienced dog person. Sidney loves meeting new people. He has done well with large dogs he has met, however he is would not be good with small dogs or cats. Sidney does show barrier reactivity, however, when the barrier is removed (whether it is a crate, fence or car window) he show absolutely no issues. Because Sidney likes a lot of activity, he will need a securely fenced yard (must be a physical fence, not an electric or invisible system)  He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and on monthly treatment for flea/ticks and heartworm prevention Sidney is currently located in the Middle TN area but transport is included in the adoption fee for approved adopter If you are interested in Sidney Poitier, email cox_ann@bellsouth.net for an application

Story
Ginger is an 10mo dog with a loving sweet personality. She is a German Sheppard/Rottweiler mix and roughly 70lbs. She loves cuddling, chewing on bones, and playing with toys. Ginger is up to date on vaccines, house trained, crate trained but is not spayed. Ginger’s backstory: We rescued Ginger’s mother (pure-bred Rottie) a year ago. We did not know she was pregnant. She gave birth to 6 adorable puppies. We were able to find all the puppies new homes. In April, we reclaimed one of Ginger’s sisters from a less than ideal situation where she was not cared for properly. Unfortunately, early June we reclaimed Ginger from a well-loving home where she unfortunately did not get along with the cats, which was causing severe anxiety. She is currently on Prozac and occasional clonazepam. Her anxiety has decreased since we took her back in and she has shown significant improvement. Unfortunately, our house can not support 3 large dogs. We are looking to find Ginger a loving forever home.
