Her time was up as a puppy at a very small, rural animal control facility, so we rescued this lovely dog. She has an exuberant personality, is bright and beautiful; enjoys being near someone, and LOVES lots of treats...Secure fenced yard required, as she can jump; VET'S REFERENCE REQUIRED.July 22, 2025, 9:42 pm

Story
Please help me find Jax his forever home for the holidays! Jax came from Rowan County in June, is up to date on his vaccinations and was neutered on 8/21/25. He is energetic and loves to play outside. He is fiercely loyal and will want to be with you all the time. He's a huge snuggle bug! Jax loves cats, he's lived with 3 and gets along great with my pit/shepherd mix. They like to run around the back yard together, play ball and catch frisbees. Jax also really loves water especially running through the sprinkler when it's hot. Although he gets along with his brother, I recommend that he’s in a home as the only dog at least to start. He’s a great dog who would benefit from a loving, active household.

Story
We welcomed this sweet girl into our home when our oldest son's new job no longer allowed him to give her the time and care she deserves. From the beginning, our goal has been to foster her while helping her find a permanent, loving home. She is a 2-year-old female who is fully up to date on vaccinations and already spayed. She has a lot of energy paired with a very affectionate, loyal personality. She resembles a small Belgian Malinois, though we are unsure of her exact breed. She is well-behaved indoors and does not chew on household items, though she enjoys appropriate chew treats. She can be protective of her family and may occasionally snarl if she feels scared; this behavior has decreased significantly during her time with us and may be related to being left alone for long periods as a puppy. She loves playing fetch and frisbee with our 11-year-old son and previously lived very happily alongside our German Shepherd. She would do best with an active owner or family.

Serious working-breed people only. These puppies are the real thing: Dad is a purebred Belgian Malinois and Mom is a Malinois maybe mixed with a little bit of something else-- she's sweet, social, and can also casually clear a kitchen counter without a running start. These pups will not “grow out of” puppy behaviors-- they will grow into them. They don't call them Mal-igators for nothing! They are smart, driven, high-octane working-breed mixes who will require structure from day one, plus ongoing training, management, and mental work for the rest of their lives. These pups are not a good match for first time dog owners, apartments, families with young kids, or anyone who wants a dog who can be tired out from walks. Ideal homes for these pups: >Experience with Malinois, Dutch Shepherds, GSDs, ABs, or similar high-drive working breeds >A lifestyle that already includes training, structure, and daily mental/physical work >A securely fenced yard >Time every single day for engagement, not just exercise >Interest in sports or jobs: obedience, scentwork, agility, etc. Right now they are bold, people-oriented, busy, observant, and quick problem-solvers. These pups will excel in a home that channels their intelligence before they decide to channel it themselves. We are only considering applicants who genuinely understand what Malinois and Malinois mixes require — and who have the lifestyle and experience to match. Astra is especially intense and tenacious, and she needs an owner as smart as she is. These pups were born 10/17/25 and will be ready for their forever homes soon! Their adoption fee is $400 and includes worming, puppy vaccines, microchip and spay when she's old enough. Story
Lucia, a sweet 2-year-old Belgian Malinois mix, is so ready to be done with motherhood and move on to her new life! She's been a wonderful mama to her sweet pups, and now it's her turn to be the baby of the home. She gets along with other dogs, ok with cats and sweet with everyone she meets. This breed is very smart, headstrong and athletic-- and they can be challenging! Lucia will be happiest in an active home with people who will put time into training, exercise and mental enrichment. Lucia would be great at dog sports! Lucia is vaccinated and will be spayed and microchipped prior to adoption.
