MEET JELLYBEAN!STATS: 1 year old, neutered, Brown Malinois MixAFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I live up to my name - I am a playful, bouncing bean! Since I am on the smaller side, I am agile and love jumping over my dog friends. While I am super playful with the other animals, I am so sweet and loving! My affectionate side is on full display when my dog friends aren`t watching!WHAT I LOVE: I LOVE to run. You will be so impressed by my zoomies in the yard - I am life a little rocket! Once I get my energy out, I love to cuddle and sit loyally at your side.KIDS: While I haven`t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, staff thinks I would do well with dog savvy kids!OTHER DOGS: I`m super dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs! I go to playgroup here at the shelter everyday!CATS: UnknownHIS MATCH: I would be perfect for a family that likes to play, run, jump, and just have fun! I am such a lover, though, and you would need to have a soft side if you want to be my forever family!SPECIAL NOTE: I literally look like someone took a shrink-ray to a Malinois!Complete an online application and get pre-approved to adopt at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/PetAdoptionSurvey. Once you complete the app, a staff member will call you in 1-2 business days once approved to set up a time for you to meet the pet you are interested in.Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.

Contact the foster at, countryacresrescuesc@gmail.comMeet Risky! He was surrendered to the shelter as an owner euthanasia request, but we took him into foster. He has so much life left and we are so happy we stepped in when we did. He is a 14 year old neutered Belgian Malinois. He is up to date on all shots and vaccines.Came in with sister/ wife Risky. Can be adopted together, but are fine to be separated. Would make a great running buddy! Such an affectionate boy. Most happy to be outside and playing fetch/ chewing on bones while being with his people. Fully potty trained and crate trained. Toys and food should be separate from other dogs!

She has so much life left and we are so happy we stepped in when we did. She is a 14 year old Belgian Malinois. She is up to date on all shots and vaccines. Came in with her brother/ husband Risky. Can be adopted together, but are fine to be separated. Would be a great running buddy! Likes to be pet but likes being outside more. Most happy to be outside and playing fetch/ chewing on bones while being with her people. Fully potty and crate trained. Toys and food should be separate from other dogs!

Please contact my foster at: selenastarnes16@gmail.comSasha is a shy gal until she gets to know you, she is very treat motivated and loves taking walks and when theres snow outside she loves to taste it !!She is a young girl who is a little timid and scared but with decompression i think she will be fenominal, right now Sasha is dog reactive but with more training and confidence boost that might just go away. She is a working progress that just needs someone to trust.-housebroken -knows (sit) (lay) (no) (paw) (kennel) (stop barking)-crate trained (little whinny at first but settles with time) -seems to be okay with kids

Lucia, a sweet 2-year-old Belgian Malinois mix, is so ready to be done with motherhood and move on to her new life! She's been a wonderful mama to her sweet pups, and now it's her turn to be the baby of the home. She gets along with other dogs, ok with cats and sweet with everyone she meets. This breed is very smart, headstrong and athletic-- and they can be challenging! Lucia will be happiest in an active home with people who will put time into training, exercise and mental enrichment. Lucia would be great at dog sports! Lucia is vaccinated and will be spayed and microchipped prior to adoption.
