Story
Hustle is a young adult, 40 lb Belgian Malinois mix with tons of energy and a big love for adventure. He's happiest running, hiking, or playing with other dogs, movement is his language. Left behind in boarding, Hustle is still learning to trust. He can be shy at first, but with patience and consistency, his loyal, affectionate side comes forward beautifully. He's fully vaccinated and ready for someone who understands active, working‑breed dogs and can offer structure, training, and reassurance. If you're looking for a devoted companion who will bond deeply, Hustle is ready to meet you. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Hustle is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.April 22, 2026, 1:21 pm

She has shown aggression toward the resident cat and some resource guarding with the other dogs but generally gets along well with people and other pets. The adopter must be experienced with working dogs. **There will be a rehoming fee but it can be negotiated after an interview and home visit. **

Story
Meet a sweet, laid-back pup looking for a new loving home! This adorable dog was originally adopted from Austin Pets Alive! and has been a cherished member of the family. With the recent arrival of a newborn, the family is no longer able to give this pup the time and attention they deserve. This dog is fully house-trained, crate trained, well-mannered, and incredibly easygoing. They have a calm personality and are perfectly content lounging around most of the day—honestly, they sometimes act more like a cat than a dog! Whether it’s napping in a cozy spot or quietly keeping you company, they’re happiest just being near their people. They would do best in a home where they can continue to enjoy a relaxed environment and receive the love they’re used to. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, affectionate companion, this sweet dog could be the perfect match.

Story
Nova is an exceptional girl, thoughtful, attentive, and ready to devote herself to someone who can help her excel. She is very engaged, loves challenges, and athletic enough to meet whatever challenge might be put in her path - typical Malinois attitude. She gets along well with other dogs, loves playing with them, but we keep her with dogs her size or larger when she is outside unattended. She is with dogs of all sizes and ages when she is inside and gets along well with everyone.Nova will ask to go out when she is in a crate, uses a doggie door, and has good house manners. She loves car rides and is good on a leash. She would be a great go-everywhere dog.If you want a life partner, Nova could be just the girl you are looking for. She is fully vetted-current with all vaccines, spayed, micro chipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Meet Blaise. 3 y/o German Shepherd. Blaise is sweet, gentle & loves to have his chest scratched. He has received 2 weeks of board & train & has excellent recall. He loves car & mule rides. He thinks the mule is his. We often find him curled up on the back seat waiting for a ride. On our hikes, which he loves, he frequently checks on his humans to make sure everyone is ok. When he is not curled up on a couch, or laying by our feet, he is usually outside with Mr. Bingley, our 11yr old black lab and my son's puppy. He loves our children & will just lay near them and watch them play. Transparent reason for rehoming is recently the 2 yr old jumped on his side. His reaction - putting his mouth over her whole face. He was reacting to pain. He did not hurt her and she is fine. Could have been worse though. I am worried he might accidentally hurt them, though not intentionally. He also has a short, explainable bite history - reason for B&T(muzzled trained). He is a sweet boy & needs a good home
