Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. Roxie was a rescue dog who had been with me for about 6 years. When it was just the two of us she was great, no problems, but since moving in to a full household with 2 young children and another dog, she has become very anxious and insecure. I am working 2 jobs now and don't have the time to spend with her. She was abused before I got her and still is very skittish. She gets along with females better than males as far as people. She's nipped at some men but had never bitten anyone. She leaves the babies alone. She really needs a calm, caring small home where she can have the attention that I can't give to her anymore. She is constantly hiding in the bathtub or under the bed or anywhere she can fit. She is afraid of everything. She loves to run and will bark at other dogs, but she isn't sure how to play with them. She's a sweet girl who needs a lot of attention and patience.

I adopted her last year but do to having to travel out of town to assist an ailing family member, it's going to require me to rehome her as much as it breaks my heart. She absolutely loves all humans, is very affectionate but respectful if you tell her to do something. She can be very energetic for someone that's active-loves to walk/run, but she's also very content to be by your side in a less active state.She would be a wonderful family dog! I have grandkids and she is great around them!
