In her foster home she has 2 foster fur siblings who have been showing Sable the ropes. She loves to play with other dogs and would enjoy living somewhere with a yard or going on walks and playdates. However, she also settles nicely and would be content in an either an apartment or house setting. Sable is young gal so if she doesn't have a yard regular walks for enrichment would be so beneficial. She is crate-trained but if invited to the couch or bed will happily abide. Sable is a sweet and goofy pup and after everything she's been through we can't wait to see her find her "happy ending" We are sure she would bring lots of love and fun to her new home. Meet Stark — a gentle soul with a heart of gold. Stark is a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees/Belgian Malinois mix with a tall, slender frame and the sweetest personality. He absolutely adores people and bonds quickly with anyone who shows him kindness. Despite some signs of past trauma—including scarring on his neck and missing teeth—Stark’s spirit remains unshaken. He’s been fully vetted and given a clean bill of health. Whatever he’s been through, it hasn’t dimmed his gentle heart or his love for life. Stark gets along well with other dogs who are well-matched to his energy, especially friendly females or calm, lower-drive neutered males. He’s still working on his training and manners, so we recommend a home with older kids—but he’s friendly with people of all ages. He hasn’t been cat-tested yet. He’s never had the chance to go into foster or meet an adopter—and we’re hoping that changes soon. Stark is truly a special dog who’s been overlooked for far too long. All he needs now is a safe, loving home where he can keep blossoming into the incredible companion he’s meant to be. Currently available for adoption at The Dogslanding House.
