Story
We got Athena when she was 6 months old, she is now 2 years old. When we first got her she had awful anxiety and we encountered some submissive urination. She was a rescue from Orange County North Carolina. Due to her behaviors, we suspect abuse or neglect in her first 6 months of life. We have been trying to work with her on this, and she has gotten a lot better, we are still struggling with her. Due to her barking and anxiety, it has become an issue in our apartment complex, and we need to rehome her. We would like to find her a safe home with people who can spend time with her, and have more space for her to unwind. She is a huge cuddle bug, she will follow you from room to room. She learns best through positive reinforcement.

Story
This is Bee. We got her from a shelter. She was in a foster home before that. She has a lot of energy but can also be a lapdog. She's very loving. We would prefer her to be in a home with a backyard that she can play in. She jumps high and likes to stand on top of our covered Blackstone! Lol She is house trained and crate trained. She is very sweet with adults. She can be ok around little kids but requires supervision. The only time she got aggravated with a child was when they tried to take her toy. She did not hurt him but she did growl and we stepped in. I would not suggest she be in a home with small children. Bee and our other dog that's close to her size get along. She is good with our smaller dogs 90% of the time but has had aggression towards one of them and it has caused tussles. Especially when they are both hyper. I think she is best in a home as a single dog or one with only one other dog around her size. Vet references required.
