Reevah has come so far in her time with us. She didn’t handle the loud shelter well, she came into heat while there and then after being spayed made the trip from LA to VA. She has settled and adjusted into a super good dog. Working hard on her social skills with other dogs she no longer feels threatened by them and can easily handle car rides and walks with many other dogs. She is absolutely fabulous in an urban environment, load noises and busy streets don’t phase her at all. She is learning to be less reactive when cars pull up and when new people approach. This girl is more than ready for a new home, her adopter will need to be willing to continue working with her to develop a partnership but this girl has so much to give in return.

Hi, I'm Sparks! I found myself in this shelter through a magical twist. One day, while chasing my tail, I spun so fast, I whirled into a different world. This world, full of kind humans and fellow pets, was unlike my old home. I explored every nook, sniffed out every cranny, and made everyone laugh with my goofy antics. I'm quite the character, you see. Independent, yet loyal. Playful, yet mellow. I've had my fun here, but now I'm ready for a new adventure. Will you be my companion? I promise to fill your life with laughter, loyalty, and love. Want to meet Sparks? Stop by the shelter during visiting hours. - 12-4 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - Closed on Wednesday - 10-2 PM Saturday All other times are by appointment only. Please call to make an appointment ~ 336-694-4921. 5 years old. Purchased from a breeder as a pup. Energetic, playful. Needs a home with a lot of interaction which he loves. Over time we have had less and less time to spend with him. We wish we could socialize him more but just do not have the time. As mentioned, he just needs love and attention! He loves his tennis ball. :). Thank you!

This handsome guy was found in Burlington in early May, and he’s already stealing hearts. We’re still getting to know him, but here’s what we do know: he’s incredibly good-looking, loves a good cuddle, and has all the makings of a certified good boy.Come spend a little time with him—you might just meet your new best friend.
