Story
Reevah has come so far in her time with us. She didn’t handle the loud shelter well, she came into heat while there and then after being spayed made the trip from LA to VA. She has settled and adjusted into a super good dog. Working hard on her social skills with other dogs she no longer feels threatened by them and can easily handle car rides and walks with many other dogs. She is absolutely fabulous in an urban environment, load noises and busy streets don’t phase her at all. She is learning to be less reactive when cars pull up and when new people approach. This girl is more than ready for a new home, her adopter will need to be willing to continue working with her to develop a partnership but this girl has so much to give in return.

Story
Gumby #hmrgumby is ready for adoption! This big sweet boy is a mix of German Shepard and Husky. He came up a few months ago but after the long trip in a crate his long legs were a little stressed. Our vet has examined and xrayed him and his hips are great, he simply had some inflammation in the growth plates of his stifles/knees. He had some down time and anti-inflammatory meds and he’s doing fantastic now. Good news for adopters is while he has been chilling out he did a 6 week group obedience class and was wonderful. He’s great around other dogs, fantastic in the vehicle and crates quietly. He is a dream to handle at the vet and for a big boy is extremely gentle. While he does love to play he is maturing into a more medium energy type and should do fine in a variety of home situations. We are guessing he is a little over a year old and hopefully done growing at this point but definitely starting to gain some bulk so his weight will continue to go up. Located in Warrenton Virginia but able to be transferred most anywhere. Click his hashtag for more info or send in an application and a volunteer will be in touch. Story
Summer is a playful, energetic 10 month old German Shepherd who loves people! She’s ready to bring lots of fun and love to her new family. She unfortunately cannot go to a home with small dogs as she isn't aware how big she is. She is also super active so she will need a home that can take her on lots of walks. If you’re looking for a lively, affectionate companion, Summer is the one for you!
