Lala Needs a Foster or Adopter by July 11 to Secure Her Ride to Wisconsin
Lala is currently in a Georgia shelter and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure her spot on transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on July 11. A committed home is required for her to make the trip, and we're hoping someone will give this special girl the chance she deserves.
Meet Lala
Affectionately known by the shelter as the "Mini Mal" (short for Mini Malinois), Lala is an 8-month-old sweetheart who has all the intelligence, attentiveness, and playful personality of a Belgian Malinois in a much smaller package. At just 29 pounds, she's surprisingly petite and actually much smaller in person than she appears in photos.
If you are looking for the ultimate family dog, look no further! This sweet girl has never met a stranger and absolutely adores people of all ages, especially children. She lights up around kids and would happily spend her days playing in the yard, going on family adventures, or soaking up all the love and attention she can get.
Lala is incredibly dog-friendly and thrives around other animals, making her a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household. She recently attended a large adoption event and handled all the excitement beautifully, happily greeting new people and enjoying every minute of the attention. One of Lala's best qualities is how clean and well-mannered she is in her kennel. She keeps her space tidy, settles in nicely, and has a gentle, loving personality that makes her easy to be around. While she's still learning leash walking and some basic manners, she is eager to please and improving every day.
This sweetheart would love a home with other pets, children to play with, and a family that will include her in all of life's adventures. She is ready to be someone's best friend, loyal companion, and cherished family member. All she needs is a foster or adopter to help her make the trip to Wisconsin.

2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.
3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it’s the right fit.
4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.
5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.
6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse $125 for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. We recommend going to HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI for the most affordable option. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, that works too!
