Story
She loves playing with the ball; we go out to the park. If she sees another dog, she stays calm and doesn't pull on the leash. She loves chasing squirrels and enjoys the pool. She knows commands in both Spanish and English—"Come, Lola, let me put on your collar; let's go for a walk"—and she really likes the park. She really likes it when you hold her on your lap and cuddle her; she falls asleep.😍🙏

Story
Buko is my brothers dog that I have been taking care of. He moved out a year ago and hasn’t been able to spend time with him or see him. I hate that he sits in the backyard wasting his day away. He is a high energy dog! He listens very well and is intelligent. He doesn’t get along with other animals. But hasn’t had much training outside of basic commands. I work a lot so I’m not able to spend time with him. He deserves a good home, Please consider him for your yours!

Story
Charlie - ID# 21102 - Kennel #873 - Arrived July 25th - Belgian Shepherd/Hound Mix - Tri Color and Brown - Male - 8 Months Old - 65 lbs (estimated adult weight 70-80 lbs) - Will Be Neutered Prior to Adoption - Up to Date on Vaccines - Heartworm Negative Charlie is a sweet tri color and brown Belgian Shepherd/Hound mix with soft brown eyes and a gentle, thoughtful expression. He arrived at Cobb Animal Services on July 25th, along with his companion Tigger, after the two came into the shelter due to a difficult crisis situation affecting their home. At 8 months old, Charlie still has plenty of growing ahead of him before reaching his estimated adult weight of 70 to 80 pounds. Charlie is a sweet boy who tends to be shy, taking his time to warm up to new people and new surroundings. He does well on a leash, showing a good foundation to build on as he continues to settle in. With patience and a calm, steady presence, dogs like Charlie often blossom beautifully once they feel truly safe. Charlie arrived at the shelter alongside Tigger, and the comfort of a familiar companion has likely been a steady source of support for both of them. Adopters are warmly encouraged to consider bringing both dogs home together, so that companionship can continue. At 8 months old, Charlie has so much of his life still ahead of him, and he is waiting in Kennel #873, hoping for the patient home where he can settle in, gain confidence, and show the world the sweet boy he truly is. Story
Rocky - ID# 20929 - Kennel #86 - Arrived July 21st - Belgian Shepherd/Malinois Mix - Tri Color - Male - 6 Months Old - 35 lbs (estimated adult weight 55-65 lbs) - Will Be Neutered Prior to Adoption - Up to Date on Vaccines - Heartworm Negative Rocky is a handsome tri color Belgian Shepherd/Malinois mix with soft brown eyes and a lean, growing frame that gives a glimpse of the striking dog he will become. He arrived at Cobb Animal Services on July 18th, after his previous owner, who was experiencing homelessness, was no longer able to keep him. Rocky was adopted that same day, but the placement did not work out due to some difficulty getting along with the resident dog in the home, and he returned to the shelter on July 21st. At just 6 months old, Rocky has already faced more change and uncertainty than most puppies his age, and he seems understandably a little confused by it all. Despite everything, he remains a sweet puppy at heart, and he already knows how to sit for treats, showing real willingness to learn and connect. Cobb Animal Services welcomes potential adopters to bring a resident dog in for a meet and greet at the shelter before finalizing an adoption, to help ensure a smooth and lasting match. Rocky is still just a baby, with his whole future ahead of him, and he deserves the chance for that future to finally be a stable and happy one. He is waiting in Kennel #86, hoping for the patient family who will give him the loving, forever home he has been missing so far. Story
COURTESY POST-Wetumpka, AL. Two Bloodhound/GSD mix pups. Mom was a red bloodhound, Dad was a bi-color GSD (colored like Scooter). These boys were surrendered to an open admission shelter because their owner couldn't rehome all the puppies. They are currently in a foster home outside the shelter and they get to do cool stuff like nose work. We would love to see them go somewhere their talents would be appreciated.
