At just 3 years old, this handsome German Shepherd has already overcome more obstacles than most dogs ever will. Through it all, Doc has remained resilient, optimistic, and full of love. Losing a leg hasn't slowed him down one bit—in fact, he proves every single day that determination is stronger than any challenge.
Doc isn't looking for anything extravagant. His dream home is simple: a family who will welcome him with open arms, a backyard where he can soak up the sunshine, and a comfy couch where he can melt into your side after a day of adventures.
Currently thriving in foster care, Doc is busy learning all the skills he needs to become the BEST boy. His foster family can't say enough wonderful things about him. He has already mastered stairs (because three legs are absolutely no obstacle!), completely wrapped his foster mom around his paw, and continually amazes his foster dad with his resilience, intelligence, and incredible capacity to love an.d overcome.
When it's time for fun, Doc has a few favorite things: a delicious pup cup, a peanut butter pop, long naps in the sun, and simply spending time with the people he loves. It's safe to say quality time is his favorite past time!
