Story
Hi, my name is Jamaica! I am approximately two years old and weigh 45 pounds. I’m a smart, social, and affectionate girl who absolutely loves her people and is ready to find a forever family of my own. My journey hasn’t been easy. I was found wandering a neighborhood after losing my way, and I was hit by a car. Thankfully, some amazing humans believed I was worth saving. They scraped together every nickel they had to get me the surgery and care I needed. After surgery and rehab, I healed beautifully — and I am truly good as new! I’m an athletic, working-breed type of girl, and an active lifestyle isn’t optional for me — it’s a must! Couch potato life just isn’t in my DNA. I would thrive with an active family who enjoys walks, hikes, adventures, and maybe even agility training (I’d love that!). I’m house trained, crate trained, walk well on leash, and I’ve already had some basic obedience training, so I know how to be a good canine citizen. I am happy to learn and eager to please. I love being out and about, exploring the world with my people. I would do best in an adult-only home or one with older children, as I haven’t been around little kids before. I get along well with other dogs and would be happy to have some fur friends. I haven’t been around cats, so my people are saying no feline roommates please. I am spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped — ready to go and ready to love. If you’re an active family looking for a loyal, resilient, and adventure-loving companion, I just might be your girl. Have your people contact my people — I can’t wait to meet you.

Story
Gerty is the goodest girl! I am devastated that we have to get rid of her. I am a newly divorced single mama of three kids and two of them have severe disabilities so my plate is too full to give Gerty what she needs. We've recently entered low income housing and cannot keep her. She needs a good family to live out the rest of her days. She is a beautiful and well behaved dog who needs a place to run! You'd be crazy not to pick her! Just be aware that she is an alpha so she will need an introduction in order to suite compatibility with other pets.

Hi! My name is Radish and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by an Animal Control Officer on April 15, 2026 as a stray!I am older gal, looking to live my golden years out in a nice big yard or go on nice long walks! I love basking in the sun, playing with my toys and spending time with my caregivers!I weigh 95lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog. I am super fluffy too!I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to hang out with you at home! I love to be scratched and pet all over!I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. Keeping my mind busy and knowing my schedule will be very heplful. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy. Things like kongs, lick mats, playing and sniffing! But trust me I also know how to lay and have a good nap;)I am an adaptable dog who loves to go with the flow! I am outgoing and I just can`t wait to find my forever home! You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Story
Hi! My name is Aurther and I am available for adoption.I weigh about 76lbs and am considered a large breed dog.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 04/20/2026, but I wasn`t quite ready when it was my time to go up for adoption. My caretakers thought I needed a bit more TLC before being placed. I am ready now and excited for my new home!I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will show you just how silly and loving of a boy I can be!I am learning `sit,` but I am still working on my manners. I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help guide me on my way to to being a well behaved dog. I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy. I do well with other dogs, but when meeting new doggy friends, it is best to do a slow introduction. I am still young and goofy, and I am looking for friends to help me learn good social skills.Although I am ready for adoption, there is always a possibility of additional medical conditions that have not been detected or may develop in the future. My current medical conditions are noted below.1) Limping - I was seen limping on the day of my neuter surgery. The vets suspect the limping is due to a soft tissue injury/inflammation/muscle sprain; however, we cannot rule out other possible causes (elbow dysplasia, other). I`ve started on pain medications. Please follow up with your regular vet for diagnostic (i.e. x-rays) and treatment/management recommendations.2) Underweight - I came in underweight. I have been eating well and showing no GI signs. The vets suspect this is due to previous malnutrition. Please continue to monitor his weight and appetite and follow up with your regular vet for any recommendations3) Dermatitis with possible hotspot - I have a mild dermatitis/rash affecting the skin on my chest and belly and elbows. There are two suspected hotspots/wounds on the bottom of both front feet. These were cleaned. I was started on an oral antibiotic. There is a possibility of underlying allergies. Please follow up with your regular vet or a veterinary dermatologist.Additional care for these conditions may be needed from your reg
