Now that Max has had some time to settle into his foster home, we have SO much to share about this wonderful boy! Max is an 8.5-year-old, 70 lb German Shepherd mix who may be a little older, but he still has plenty of life, love, and adventures left to share with his forever family!
Max is a calm, friendly, well-mannered gentleman who gets along well with both people and other dogs. He’s already housetrained, knows sit, down, paw, and stay, and is a quick learner who is working on his loose-leash walking. He also rarely barks, making him a lovely, easygoing companion!
Looking for a loyal sidekick? Max is your guy! 🥰 He LOVES car rides and would be the perfect buddy for errands, road trips, and everyday adventures. He also takes his job as your loyal companion very seriously, escorting you around and making sure everything (and everyone!) gets a proper sniff inspection when you return home.
Max loves belly rubs, enthusiastic butt pats, and cuddling so much that he’ll happily try to climb right into your lap! He enjoys running around the backyard, is still surprisingly agile, and has plenty of playful energy left. He’s also very food-motivated, so don’t be surprised if he checks the counters for any unattended snacks!
