A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around WA state & Oregon but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, PayPal, if using PayPal the potential adopter will have to pay the fees & charges with PayPal. Another sweet angel who was listed on line as needing help here in WA state. The first story we were told was that Lola was needing a home because the man’s breeder aunt was no longer breeding bernadoodle’s & he had people who were interested in her but was worried they would continue this breed her & he didn’t want that. We ended up getting Lola & she was extremely sweet, a little reserved & of course she was because she had been used as a breeding machine. We requested any paperwork on her & he said there was non. We quickly worked out that the actual man & his wife were Lola’s breeders & they were selling her babies & others for $3500 plus tax & are still selling puppies. We found out this to be the actual case & he said it was his wife’s business & not his. Lola was not spayed, needed medically everything & she had, had who knows how many liters? We rescued this little lady & she is flourishing in her foster home & had all of her medical taken care of & now gets to enjoy constant friendship with other dogs and a backyard to run around in freely. We believe every sweet soul such as Lola and her friends deserves to be loved and cherished and given the chance to have a wonderful life. Now Lola is looking for a special family to cherish her and be patient with her and remember what this beautiful soul has been through and a family that meets all her needs. Lola is the most beautiful soul and loves hard when people love her. She knows her world is so very different & a lot more fun & adventures. Her foster mum said she is such a good girl and up for anything and comes when she calls her and gets so excited at times, ie when it’s time to get up, dinner time, going for adventures. She radiates gratitude. She just wants you to love her and she will love you back. She adores being hugged and held & is constantly with one of her foster mums. She also enjoys hugs & loves. She is a really smart girl and adjusted quickly to her foster home. When she finds people who love her they become his world. She is such a soft gentle girl who gets so excited every time she sees her foster mum and her little tail is always wagging with glee. She loves to run and play with her foster siblings and must go to a home with another dog who will be company for her. Lola eats a clean diet, meaning raw fruits, raw vegetables, 70 % raw proteins, grains, fats and supplements. She also enjoys collagen sticks and bully sticks. Lola has been taught to walk on harness & leash & has been doing wonderful. She would need continued work walking on her harness & leash. Lola is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Lola adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing her, cleaning his eyes, grooming her, baths, the hairdryer she loves it all. She also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. Lola enjoys playing with toys & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. Lola has learnt to ride in the car and does well in the car and enjoys a good car ride. She is such an amazing, loving little lady. With Lola we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this girl. We are also looking for a forever home for Lola where someone is home during the day or Lola can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Lola is looking for a forever home who will cherish her and love her as she should be loved and be very patient with her and understanding. Lola has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes and sizes and she is currently with other dogs and enjoys their company in her loving foster home. She can be found at times snuggled up to her foster siblings and will want to sleep in bed with you and she does in her current loving foster home. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Lola’s new forever home if it’s a free standing home. Lola is now 51.2 lbs & 4 years old. She is now spayed & a bernadoodle & what she is mixed with we are not sure? We also just got her a dental. She is microchipped, up to date on her shots including DHPP, rabies & dewormed. Once these shots expire we will not redo them except rabies as we will not over vaccinate our beloved dogs. We have spent more on Lola with paying for her medical care, including, shots, spay, dental microchip etc, than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Lola has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have had Lola with small children & did great but we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals. We were not there when Lola was conceived so we do not know who her parents were and it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures and decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues and Lola’s friends she will need work on potty training and training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life and that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Lola potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through and what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them and if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training and not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Lola and going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end and are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on and remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview and a virtual home visit using Zoom followed by a meet and greet and if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Lola who understands her needs and that meet all the requirements for this lovely sweet lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives and please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. Lola has an adoption fee of $895 & is ready for her truly loving forever home and compassion and understanding of what she has been through.

Story
Frankie is an incredible dog, an energetic and loving Bernedoodle, 6 months old, and was chosen compassionately by my mother. After recently finding out my mother has health issues that are directly affected by Frankie, we are passionately looking for a family that can adopt her quickly. Most importantly, we want this to be a good home, and a good fit for an incredible new family member. This was a difficult decision to make, but with Frankie being so young, and our family in a position to where we cannot take Frankie with us, we hope there is a perfect fit out there.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Cole! Cole is an adorable 1-year-old, 9 lb Yorkiepoo who came to us as an owner surrender when his previous owner could no longer care for him. He is currently thriving in a foster home and is ready to find his forever family! Cole is a happy, energetic, and playful little guy with a big personality packed into a small body. He is extremely social, loves people, and absolutely lives for playtime with other dogs. He plays hard, can be vocal, and has a ton of youthful puppy energy ~ so he is looking for a home with another young, playful dog who can be his full-time playmate and help keep him well-socialized and fulfilled. Because of his energy level and vocal nature, Cole requires a freestanding home with a securely fenced yard — apartments, condos, and shared-wall living are not a good fit for him. He also does not do well with crate confinement and prefers the freedom to move around and explore his home environment. Cole is smart, eager, and still very much in his puppy phase. He will benefit from an adopter who is committed to continuing his training, providing structure, and giving him plenty of physical and mental outlets. A young, active household that enjoys play, enrichment, and daily activity would be ideal for him. This spunky boy will also need regular grooming to keep his soft coat healthy and looking its best. At the end of a busy day, Cole loves to cuddle up and soak in attention from his people ~ he’s affectionate, sweet, and full of love! If you’re looking for a fun, energetic companion and have a playful dog at home looking for a best friend, Cole may be the perfect match for you! Cole is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $600.

Story
Meet Charlie – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Safe Place (currently in foster care) Charlie is a 2.5-year-old, 30 lb Mini Aussie Doodle with a tender heart and a quiet spirit. He’s searching for a patient, understanding adopter who will give him the time and consistency he needs to feel safe and truly at home. Charlie walks well on a leash, sticking right by your side and looking to his person for security and guidance. While he may be shy at first, there’s a deeply loyal companion waiting to emerge once he learns to trust you. Charlie is a very sensitive boy. Loud noises, sudden movements, and new environments can be overwhelming for him, so he will need a calm, structured home where routines are predictable. He’s especially nervous around new people and prefers to go at his own pace—he’ll come to you when he’s ready, and that trust is incredibly rewarding to earn. One thing that truly helps Charlie shine is other dogs, as he gains confidence by following their lead. Because of this, he must have another young, confident dog in the home to help him feel secure and continue building his confidence. Charlie’s ideal home: • Quiet, standalone house (no apartments or busy city environments) • Securely fenced 6-foot yard • Adults only; no children • A patient adopter willing to let him move at his pace (he tends to bond most closely with women) • Someone home most of the time • Another friendly, confident dog He is still working on potty training and will need gentle guidance and consistency. Charlie also isn’t the type to jump right into cuddles—he prefers to take things slow and will build a deep bond with his person over time. At night, he sleeps peacefully in his dog bed right next to yours. If you have a calm home, a kind heart, and the patience to let a shy dog blossom at his own pace, Charlie could become your most devoted companion. Charlie is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $600.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED (she is currently in foster care): Meet Cricket! She is an extremely shy, sweet 1-year-old, 10-lb Yorkie Terrier mix who is looking for a quiet, patient home. Cricket needs an adopter who understands that trust takes time. She will do best with someone who can give her the space, patience, and consistency she needs to feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. Because of her shy nature, Cricket would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home with no children. She will need a standalone home outside of the city with a securely fenced yard, as she can be a flight risk and needs a safe space to explore at her own pace. Cricket does well with other dogs and currently lives in a foster home with several canine companions. She would thrive in a home with another canine companion to help build her confidence and show her the ropes. While she is not cuddly, she is quiet, gentle, and well-behaved, making her a lovely companion for someone who appreciates a more independent, sensitive soul. She is working on potty training in her foster home and is pad trained. Cricket will also require regular grooming to keep her coat healthy and comfortable. If you’re a patient, kind person looking to give a shy dog the safe, peaceful home she deserves, Cricket may be the perfect match for you. Cricket is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $500.
