Born: October 11, 2025 I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $700 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. Hi! I am Noah. I am a 3-4 ish year old male Bernese mountain dog. I went to ForGood rescue after being found as a stray in central Illinois. I was SUPER skinny, - like sack of bones skinny but my foster family has given me lots of good food and I am getting heavier every day. I love to get all the snuggles, am potty trained and am so good in the backyard! I am good in the house- I dont need to be crated, but keep a watchful eye on me cuz I might steel a sock!! I just cant help myself! I love to play with doggies, but am a little too assertive with cats. My foster mommy tells me that I would do best in a home that has lots of love to give me, is home more often than not, has a big backyard for me to run around in and doesnt have cats or small kids (I love kids its just that I just dont know my strength sometimes and maybe I think Im a lap dog). Speaking of laps - I would love to lay in one all day. I promise Im just a happy go lucky guy who needs my forever family!!! I’ve been with my family since I was 4 months old, but because of reasons outside our control, they made the very hard decision to help me find a new home where I can get the time and stability I deserve.I’m a happy, affectionate guy who truly loves my people.
