Vinnie would love to meet you! In fact, he loves meeting everybody! This hefty boy enjoys being around his family and meeting new friends too. He enjoys long walks, but really likes to lounge around outside in the sun. In the home, Vinnie would be best as an only pet because he does get jealous. Out and about, Vinnie absolutely loves meeting other dogs, cats, and even ferrets! Vinnie is house trained and is working on crate training, but would prefer a family where someone is home more often than not. Overall, Vinnie's such a great dog, and would be a perfect candidate to take out with you wherever you go- baseball game? Easy! Outdoor bar? Perfect! Vinnie will be your best buddy, and make new friends wherever he goes. He is the perfect wingman! Recently in November 2022, Vinnie underwent some tests due to chronic tummy issues and it was discovered he has a fiber responsive irritable bowel syndrome. Vinnie is on a special food to help, and this food does cost approximately $100/month. Milo was super skinny when he came to us from Texas where he was slated for euthanasia due to overcrowding. He is chowing down well in his foster home and should be at a healthy weight soon. This amazing Great Pyrenes is happy to exchange his cowboy boots for winter boots. Milo is a friendly dog who gets along with everyone he meets As he is getting used to our midwestern accents, we are learning a lot about Milo. He needs to be in a home with a high fence. Milo can easily jump a 4 foot fence. Elena joined BAARK’s Safe House just last week. She’s a gorgeous girl who found herself dumped at an area animal control and was completely terrified by the scary sounds and fast pace of people rushing around to help all the residents of the overcrowded facility. Elena is a young girl, estimated to be 2-3 years old, weighing about 70 lbs. She’s great with both dogs and cats. She loves people and loves to be petted and receiving plenty of attention. She is very scared of loud noises and will bark and try to escape from them. Therefore a quiet calm home with a modest level of activity would be best for Elena. Older children may be ok but younger ones could be scary for her. Elena would enjoy a secure fenced yard, with a canine friend to keep her company. Breed experience is very important when adopting a Great Pyrenees. Elena is housebroken and crate-trained; she sleeps in her crate at night.
