Hi, I’m Floki! I’ve been with my family since I was 4 months old, but because of reasons outside our control, they made the very hard decision to help me find a new home where I can get the time and stability I deserve.I’m a happy, affectionate guy who truly loves my people. I’m friendly with humans of all sizes and although I have never lived with other dogs, I get along with them during introductions. I’m a little too curious about cats, so no feline friends for me please!! One of my favorite things in the world is being outside! I have lots of energy and would really love a home with a securely fenced yard where I can explore, play, and soak up the fresh air. I am a little strong on a leash, so I could use some leash manners training, but I would make a great companion for neighborhood strolls and outdoor adventures. I’m fully house-trained and haven’t needed a crate in years.Because I’m a Bernedoodle, I do need regular professional grooming to keep my coat healthy and comfortable. My future family should be ready for the time and cost that comes with keeping me looking and feeling my best.If you’re looking for a loving, outdoorsy, loyal companion with a big heart (and big fluffy hugs!), I might just be your perfect match. Hi! I am Noah. I am a 3-4 ish year old male Bernese mountain dog. I went to ForGood rescue after being found as a stray in central Illinois. I was SUPER skinny, - like sack of bones skinny but my foster family has given me lots of good food and I am getting heavier every day. I love to get all the snuggles, am potty trained and am so good in the backyard! I am good in the house- I dont need to be crated, but keep a watchful eye on me cuz o might steel a sock!! I juts cant help myself! I love to play with doggies, but am a little too assertive with cats. My foster mommy tells me that I would do best in a home that has lots of love to give me, is home more often than not, has a big backyard for me to run around in and doesnt have cats or small kids (I love kids its just that I just dont know my strength sometimes and maybe I think Im a lap dog). Speaking of laps - I would love to lay in one all day. I promise Im just a happy go lucky guy who needs my forever family!!! Meet Nellie Nellie, a Great Pyrenees, joined BAARK when her owner was no longer able to care for himself, much less her. As such, she was in pretty rough physical condition when she was surrendered, but clearly had received plenty of attention and love. Nellie is estimated to be 7-8 years old and weighs about 80 lbs. When meeting new people, Nellie is a little shy at first. We believe that this is because she had very little exposure to new people when with her previous owner. However, in her foster home, with patience and, in following the lead of her new canine friends, Nellie has really blossomed. She now gives kisses and lots of tail wags when her foster mom and dad get home from work. She gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. In typical Great Pyr fashion, she loves patrolling the fence line and she is especially in tune to large birds flying overhead. Her foster family appreciates her level of alert, as Nellie watches over her much smaller foster brother and sisters in the home. Nellie is housebroken and is just fine being un-crated at home by herself. Nellie joined our rescue organization back in June. She is just becoming available for adoption as she has a long recovery from a mass removal on her paw pad (benign). She has 3 toes on that paw but gets around just fine. Nellie is in overall great health. She’s spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative. Frosty 1 year old Female Great Pyrenees Spayed already Housebroken and crate trained Good with other dogs Good with cats Not sure about kids...just say over 12 years old. Fenced yard required. No apartment or condo. Frosty joined BAARK along with her sister, having been found in Boone County. We are told that the girls had been living in a barn stall…so of course had had no experience with wearing of a collar, leash walking, housebreaking, and just living in a house. But all that has changed…for the better. While Frosty is a growing puppy (she’s just over a year old), she is making plenty of progress as she evolves into the best version of herself!! Frosty is very sweet, and very shy. She’s calm and sometimes timid, as well as submissive. She enjoys being with other dogs and is good with cats too! Frosty is doing very well with housebreaking and crate training, especially when motivated by treats!! An ideal home for Frosty has a secure, large fenced yard (one she can not climb over!), and another dog, to teach her the ropes and help build her confidence! A patient family willing to provide Frosty the daily attention, affection, and training she deserves is important. And, Great Pyrenees is definitely a plus when considering a forever home for Frosty. Frosty is fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on year-round preventative, spayed and microchipped. She is working on housebreaking as well as her leash manners.
