Story
Falkor has been with us around 1 and 1/2 years. He is a very sweet dog who is very protective over his family. Unfortunately this has led to incidents where he has nipped and bit at a new visitor right at the entrance to the home. He is up to date on his shots and has completed a required quarantine. He also does have a bad behavior of eating any unguarded food. Some of these habits come from his time where he was abused by a previous owner before us. That said though he is very sweet and loves to play in the yard with kids and other dogs that he knows. Our youngest is 4 and he tolerates him by typically getting up and moving away. At this time we have kids that are at ages where they want to have friends over all the time and we do not feel Falkor is getting the best treatment since during those visits he has to be isolated to the kitchen or outside to avoid future incidents. We want to find him a home that will love him

Kelly was born 12/21/2020 and weighs 96 lbs . Kelly is working on house and crate training and does well with other dogs, cats and children. Our vet has determined that Kelly has a grade 2 heart murmur.The adoption fee is $475 which includes the spay on 11/10 at our vet, microchip with lifetime registration, vaccinations (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) dewormings and heartworm/lyme testing. Kelly is participating in the cell dog program which is where the dog stays at the prison with a dog handler working on basic obedience and house, crate, and leash training. It’s an amazing program!
