Story

Milo is great with kids and other animals, he turned 3 in June. He does come from a very loving home. Unfortunately with older kids and now much we travel for sports & becoming pregnant he has been extra needy & I don’t have the time or energy to give him the care he needs anymore. He has been acting out with getting into the garbage & food off the counter, he has toys and snacks but if he doesn’t get the attention when he wants then accidents happen. He is cage trained and usually goes in it when we leave to avoid these incidents but I don’t like to cage for long periods of time and if he’s not then he tends to get into things. He loves going for car rides & walks & as you can see from his picture, to clean out peanut butter jars.

Story

Falkor has been with us around 1 and 1/2 years. He is a very sweet dog who is very protective over his family. Unfortunately this has led to incidents where he has nipped and bit at a new visitor right at the entrance to the home. He is up to date on his shots and has completed a required quarantine. He also does have a bad behavior of eating any unguarded food. Some of these habits come from his time where he was abused by a previous owner before us. That said though he is very sweet and loves to play in the yard with kids and other dogs that he knows. Our youngest is 4 and he tolerates him by typically getting up and moving away. At this time we have kids that are at ages where they want to have friends over all the time and we do not feel Falkor is getting the best treatment since during those visits he has to be isolated to the kitchen or outside to avoid future incidents. We want to find him a home that will love him

Kelly was born 12/21/2020 and weighs 96 lbs . Kelly is working on house and crate training and does well with other dogs, cats and children. Our vet has determined that Kelly has a grade 2 heart murmur.The adoption fee is $475 which includes the spay on 11/10 at our vet, microchip with lifetime registration, vaccinations (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) dewormings and heartworm/lyme testing. Kelly is participating in the cell dog program which is where the dog stays at the prison with a dog handler working on basic obedience and house, crate, and leash training. It’s an amazing program! Cynthia is a stunning three-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog with the sweetest soul. Used as a breeding dog in her past, Cynthia didn’t get the love, care, or positive human interaction she deserved. Because of this, she is timid and fearful, especially around people but beneath that fear is a heart full of gentleness and quiet hope. She finds her greatest comfort in the company of other dogs and would do best in a home with a calm canine companion to help guide her. Cynthia is spayed, fully vetted, and has done well both in the car and at the vet. While she may be scared, she is incredibly cooperative and kind. Cynthia doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She just needs someone patient and gentle who will help her learn that not all people are going to hurt her. With time, love, and understanding, this beautiful girl will continue to blossom.
