Story
Paint is a sweet 4.5-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog. At 90 lbs, she is a gentle giant with a heart full of love. Paint's superpowers include being calm, low-energy, and being happy when she’s close to her people — whether that’s quietly lying by your feet or leaning in for a little affection. Paint is crate trained, well-mannered, and gets along wonderfully with kids and other dogs. She’s got a kind, easygoing nature that makes her a perfect companion for a family or anyone looking for a loyal friend. We’re not sure how she feels about cats yet and needs encouragement to for a walk, but once walking loves it! She loves being close and yearns for acceptance and affection. If you’re looking for a sweet, steady companion to bring warmth and happiness into your home, Paint might be your perfect match. Come say hello — she might just be the perfect addition to your family! Paint is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Her adoption fee is $275.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Lola is a 1-year-old, 80-pound Bernese Mountain Dog with a heart as big as her paws. After spending her entire life in a puppy mill, she’s finally getting the chance to experience what love, kindness, and freedom feel like—and she’s learning more every day. Lola is a sweet, gentle soul who is still discovering the world outside her old life. She’s shy at first, especially around new people and sudden noises, but with patience and understanding, she begins to trust—and when she does, she’ll melt your heart by offering her paw to hold your hand. It’s her way of saying, “I love you.” This beautiful girl is potty trained, very quiet (she rarely barks), and absolutely adores peanut butter treats. Lola needs a calm, patient family who can help her build confidence at her own pace. A large, fenced yard is her dream—she loves having space to explore and stretch her legs. Lola has so much love to give and just needs the right people to help her blossom. Could you be the family she’s been waiting for? Would you like a version tailored for a shelter’s website or social media post too? Lola is currently fostered in Cincinnati, OH. her adoption fee is $450.00. Story
Meet Diana! Princess Diana is a 3-month-old Goldendoodle/Bernese Mountain Dog mix who weighs approximately 15 lbs. Diana is expected to be a large girl when fully grown. Diana's superpowers include having tons of puppy energy and incredibly soft fur. She enjoys snuggles and being petted, but her favorite hobby is playing outdoors with her sister, Princess Kate. She gets along well with cats, dogs and children. Because of her high energy level, she would do best in a home with another dog. Diana is currently working on house training and does well with regular breaks, but as a puppy, she does have accidents. Diana does well in her crate, other than some light whining the first few minutes after entering. While Diana is known to occasionally steal a shoe, she will also steal your heart with her loving personality. If you are looking for a big girl with lots of love to give, Diana might be your perfect match! Diana is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. Story
Meet Halley – like the comet, but way cuddlier! This 3-month-old, 16lb bundle of fluff is a Bernese Mountain Dog and Goldendoodle mix, which basically means she’s part teddy bear, part goofball, and all heart. Halley is the perfect mix of playful puppy zooms and cozy nap time—she’ll chase a ball one minute and be snoozing at your feet the next. She’s super friendly and LOVES people, so don’t be surprised if she greets you with a joyful jump (we’re working on her manners, but she just can’t help how excited she gets!). Halley’s the kind of pup who brightens every room she walks into with her happy spirit and tail wags. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, and snuggly companion who’s already a star in the making, Halley is the girl for you. Halley is fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. Good with kids, Good with dogs,
Story
Hi, I'm Chevy! I'm a 4 month old bernese mountain dog mix. My siblings (the Simpsons litter) and I were rescued by RescuedOhio. My siblings have all been adopted, but I stayed with my foster a bit longer because I had a broken leg. My leg is now healed and I am ready to find my family! I no longer have to wear a cast, but I have some atrophy to my left hind leg from being in the cast for so long. It will take me some time to regain strength and build muscle, but I'm getting stronger and stronger. I can't wait to run around like a normal puppy again! I absolutely love my foster siblings. I love having a playmate and a companion to snuggle up with in the evenings. I would love to have a dog sibling in my forever home! Because I had a cast and activity restrictions, my potty training has been a slow process, but I am improving! It's so much easier without that clunky cast to drag along. I don't mind being crated. I am very food motivated, so you can easily train me with treats!  My adoption fee is $400. This includes my neuter, deworming, a clean bill of health, vaccines and preventatives up to date.  ##2344560##
