She came in last November due to whelp pups at any time. She was a livestock guardian dog and her family loved her, so no negative comments. She lived on their farm with the male dog and took care of the livestock, especially their goats. They never intended for her to have to find another home, but one of the family members became ill. When she came in she was very fearful and very intimidating to my volunteers. We took it slow with her and I figured she would just end up living her life with me. But with time she has become the favorite and is making great progress in preparing for a new home. Sugar is a 2 yrs old purebred Great Pyrenees. She grew up around all types of farm animals and although would no doubt adjust to house life I think would love to find a family that has some farm animals and allows her to go to the barn when they are doing chores. She needs a fenced yard (no exceptions). This girl loves to lay out in the yard and just watch the world go by. She is very intelligent and just needs a family to give her time to settle in and you will see her personality come out. Her adoption fee is $400. All of her vetcare is current. I got Roxie at 8 weeks ok she grew up with me in college. She is an amazing dog and it breaks my heart having to part with her because she’s a great dog. But with my living situation and career path I just can’t exercise her as much as she needs. She is extremely smart and well behaved. She does amazing with other dogs but has shown signs of aggression over food only with dogs. She will come with her crate and her food bowl. She’s the most loving dog I’ve ever had and I just want her to have a life that I can not give her and I know someone else can.

I have had Topato since she was a puppy she was born on a porch in the middle of winter and needed a home. We’ve moved through multiple states (so she’s great in cars) and I think that stress has finally caught up with her and the apartment life just isn’t for her. In the past we have had huge yards and now that we don’t have one I think she is unhappy. So that’s definitely something I’m looking for in her new home. I am constantly busy with work and can’t give her the attention she deserves. Shes 6 years old (bday nov 20) so smart, loves food, and loves to cuddle. Her favorite trick is to spin. She loves the outdoors. She was raised with other dogs but she hasn’t been around any in awhile so unsure of how she would do freshly introduced. She’s great with cats doesn’t bother them if they want nothing to do with her and doesn’t mind if they wanna cuddle. Zero experience being around children. She’s a sweety pie just a little anxious at times.

What a fun combo for a dog! He gets super excited when he sees me getting my tennis shoes on, or my ball cap because he knows it means we're going hiking. He's 100 pounds of lean handsomeness. LOL. He does well as a couch potato and is calm in the house on a normal quiet day. He is house trained, crate trained and does well with other non dominant dogs. He loves playing fetch with any ball, and if you don't have time to play, Buck plays by himself. I'm looking for a home without young children because Buck does have herding/guarding tendencies. Buck is looking for someone who loves the big boys, and can handle them. Bucks adoption fee is $200, and includes all up to date vaccines, neuter, microchip, flea and heartworm preventative, and endless love and appreciation from BUCK!
