Story
Hi, I'm Kobe! I'm a 2 year old male Bernese Mountain dog but my foster family say I look more like a big teddy bear! I was surrendered to Zoe's House by a commercial breeder. I lived outdoors for most of my life. Learning about life inside of a home, was a whole new world for me. I was afraid to walk on carpets, go up and down steps, and eat out of a dog bowl. I felt more comfortable outdoors until I was introduced to a warm house! Now, I run up and down the steps, play on the carpets, and jump on the couch. I also sleep in a cozy bed with a fan on me. Kobe has a docile personality and loves to be around his family. He is truly a gentle giant who loves receiving attention. He is good with kids and other dogs, however, he wouldn't mind being the only pet. He currently lives with another dog and will play with her periodically. He is still learning how to play and interact with other dogs. He enjoys lounging outdoors and looks forward to his daily walks. Kobe is housebroken and does not have accidents in his foster house if taken out on a regular basis Potential adopters may need to meet Kobe several times so he can get comfortable with you. He is very shy and nervous the first time meeting people but is very loyal once he trusts you. Kobe is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, wormed and on monthly preventatives. He had bi-lateral eye surgery to repair entropion. The surgery was successful and he looks adorable. If you are interested in meeting Kobe please apply at www.zoeshouserescue.com. Please allow a few weeks for foster families to process applications. Kobe is being fostered in Center Valley, PA. All adopters should be prepared to travel to the foster home with their current dogs. Kennel License #9117 PO Box 2372 Reading, PA 19608

Story
Abner is a Bernese Mountain dog combinied with a Lab and a Standard Poodle, so he is going to be a big boy. Average weight 80 to 100lbs. Abner is a playful but low key puppy. He likes to run around and play but is also happy to lay on a dog bed and chew a toy by himself.  He is doing very well with leash walking (he prefers an Easy Walk harness over a collar) and even walks alongside a baby stroller well.  He is starting to give signals like ringing a bell hanging on the door knob to let us know that he has to go out and is house broken on a schedule. He is living with 2 cats and kids ages 1.5 years- 8 years and is generally very good with but still needs reminders to not be mouthy- we trade a toy if he gets too rough. He sleeps in a crate overnight but occasionally doesn’t make it 8 hours overnight without a bathroom break- he is improving each week.  He does well with baths in a tub. Abner is now neutered, up to date with vaccines for his age an microchipped. His adoption fee is $450.00. If you are interested in adopting Abner, please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application.  Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue 9411 Kings Highway, East Greenville, PA 18041.
