Story
Lexi is a beautiful 5 year old, 24 pound, mini bernedoodle with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This energetic girl loves life and is always ready for an adventure, whether that means going for walks, playing, or spending time with her people. Lexi has been working with a trainer and has made amazing progress. She is a quick learner and very food motivated. She can be a little anxious at times, but with patience, consistency, and a loving home, she continues to build confidence every day. Lexi is a social girl who does well with other dogs and children. She currently lives in a foster home with five male dogs and two children (ages 4 and 8), and she’s learning what it means to be part of a family. She would do best with an active family who understands her needs and will continue to support her growth. In return, Lexi promises loyalty, affection, and endless fun. Lexi does well in her crate and his working hard on housebreaking, but some regression is possible in a new environment. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Story
Introducing Tobias, a Sweet and Sensitive 2 Year Old 35 lb Mini Bernedoodle who just might teach you the true meaning of life: that happiness isn’t found in the grand moments, but in the courage it takes to embrace the small ones. Toby is not the dog who will rush into your arms on day one. For the first two years of Toby’s life while living in a commercial breeding facility, he had very few opportunities to learn that people can be trusted. Then Zoe's House Rescue stepped in, and Toby's next chapter began. Because Toby never learned that people could be a source of comfort, everything felt overwhelming. Keeping his distance felt safer than seeking attention. But slowly, Toby has been quietly changing. Toby's progress isn't measured in giant leaps. It's measured in quiet victories that are easy to miss unless you're paying attention. You may catch a gentle tail wag. Toby happily accepts treats, though he still prefers a little personal space while enjoying them. And boy, does he love running with the pack when they think they'll be catching neighborhood squirrels and rabbits! Most importantly, he is learning to realize that some people can be trusted, especially his foster mom. Living with Toby means learning to celebrate the small things. One day, you’ll notice he’s chosen to settle a little closer than usual. Another day you’ll realize he’s watching you with curiosity instead of uncertainty. You will sense that he wants you to pick him up to cuddle, but he just doesn’t have the confidence to jump up on your lap. The leash was once terrifying but now pack walks are on the agenda! The milestones with Toby aren't loud. They sneak up on you and somehow end up meaning everything. Toby is a smart sensitive boy who benefits from routine, enrichment, exercise and gentle quiet encouragement. He needs a family that understands trust is something earned, not demanded. He isn't looking to hide from the world anymore. He is looking for patient people who will help him continue discovering it. Toby’s MUST HAVES in his new home: • A securely fenced yard • While he has grown comfortable around dogs, he seems most drawn to calm companions who won’t overwhelm him. A smaller or similarly tempered dog may be an especially good fit. • Toby can be crated but would prefer a smaller area where he has a little more freedom to relax and make choices on his own. • Adult only home preferred. Because Toby’s journey is still unfolding, his adopters must be willing to continue working with his trainer and understand that building trust will be a gradual process. This will not be a quick transition, and Toby is not searching for a family expecting instant results. He is searching for people willing to invest in the relationship and celebrate the small victories that eventually become life-changing ones. The greatest reward with Toby isn’t teaching him something new. It’s being present when he decides, on his own, that he’s ready for the next chapter. If you’re willing to slow down, observe, learn, and find beauty in the smallest of breakthroughs, Tobias would love to meet you. His story is still being written, and he is looking for someone special to help write the happy ending he is so deserving of. Story
Meet Angie. Angie is a 5 year old female Bernese Mountain Dog who weighs 98 lbs. She came to us from a breeder. Angie is doing her best to figure out what it means to live in a house. Angie has not had any accidents in the house. She's skiddish with loud noises and quick movements. Angie paces in the house, going back and forth to see where the people are. Angie does well in a crate that she can see through. Crating Angie actually gives her time to rest. Angie met some neighbor kids and did well with them, but would prefer to have it quiet. A yard with a fence is a must because Angie doesn't like the leash and attempts to dart away when on a leash. Angie has seen cats through a fence and will stand there watching them. Angie has also briefly had cats walk past her with no barriers and she did not try to go after them. We did find a mass on Angie's leg when she came to the rescue. It was removed when she was spayed. The biopsy did show mast cell cancer and it was completely removed. We don't know at this point if it will re-occur or how long she had the lump but it is now completely removed. Angie will need a home that will spoil her no matter how long she may have. Angie is microchipped, up to date with her vaccines, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $250.00. If you are interested in adopting Angie, please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application. Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue 9411 Kings Highway, East Greenville, PA 18041.  Pennsylvania Kennel License #13036  ##2716997##

Story
Meet Arielle -Arielle is a 5 ½ yr old Black/White Bernedoodle and weighs approximately 77 lbs. She is the height of a Bernese and her hair is more poodle than Bernese. She doesn’t shed and allergies have not been an issue in the foster home. She came from a farm in Lancaster with her friend Henry a mini poodle and was a personal pet on the property. Arielle listens very well and knows commands. She is still shy but is coming out of her shell more and more each day. Arielle loves to be petted and comes when you call her. She was a bit nervous and defensive when she first arrived not knowing her place among a group of large dogs in the foster home. After some time to decompress and getting spayed she has gotten much better with the other dogs in the home but she may be happier either as your only dog or with small dogs. She loves her buddy Henry and they even sleep in the same crate together during the day. Arielle is crate trained and has had no accidents in the house or crate. She even lets you know when she needs to go to the bathroom. She considers her crate her safe space and it’s highly recommended that she has a crate so she has her own space. Because of her active prey instinct Arielle should not go to a home that has chickens. Arielle also walks very well on a leash. Because of her size it would be recommended for Arielle to go to a home with older children. She is UTD on vaccines, microchipped and spayed. She tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $450.00.  If you are interested in adopting Arielle, please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application.  Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue  9411 Kings Highway, East Greenville, PA 18041. Story
Her name is Alro, birthday is December 9. We bought her from a breeder when she was a puppy 3.5 years ago, she’s very sweet and beautiful dog, super duper loyal and listens well to commands. She’s great around kids she’s on a schedule with food and bathroom time so she does not go in the house. Our schedules are so busy we’ve contemplated keeping her for a year at this point and ultimately are at our limits and cannot keep her. She’s healthy and loving and we’re looking for a good home for her as she is an amazing dog!

**GRETA’S ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN PARTIALLY SPONSORED BY TAYLOR LEICHT IN HONOR OF DAVE, MELISSA, BRUCE AND MOBY**Hello, my name is: GretaApprox. DOB: 04/08/2021Weight: 69.4 lbsSex/Breed: Spayed female Bernese Mountain DogRescued From: Breeding kennelMiss. Greta is as sweet as pie! While home life is still a little scary, she is making leaps and bounds every day in her confidence. When surrounded by her doggy pals she lets her guard down and bounces around, accepting their kisses and affection. While she is still nervous about normal things like going through doorways and approaching humans for attention, she’ll gently wag her tail and listen intently when her foster mom talks to her, telling her she’s a good girl. We can already see her potential slowly slipping through her timid exterior!! Greta is looking for a calm home with a fenced in yard and at least one other dog to show her the ropes. Training is a work in progress, but she is doing very well with her crate training. With time and patience, this gorgeous girl will thrive!
