Perseus is a large, high energy, protective, and playful dog. He is lots of fun and great with families. We’re looking to rehome Perseus because we have a small unfenced yard on a busy street. We have concerns for Perseus’ safety.

Story
Please read carefully before applying! Q & Sal are looking for loving, experienced families who understand and appreciate the unique needs of special needs dogs. They will be adopted separately. These girls need homes with people who have experience with blind and/or deaf pets and are ready to commit to their care and happiness. Meet Q & Sal, 10-week-old mini Bernedoodle sisters who came into rescue as a result of irresponsible breeding. As double merles, both pups have impaired vision and hearing, and have been diagnosed with Microphthalmia, a condition affecting eye development. Unfortunately, double merle breeding often results in lifelong medical and behavioral challenges, and while Q & Sal are full of love, they may face an uncertain future in terms of lifespan and health. Despite these hurdles, Q & Sal are already proving how resilient and sweet they are: 🐾 Q is the tiniest of the litter and completely blind and deaf. She’s a champion napper, and when she’s awake, she navigates her world like a pro—using her nose to explore her puppy pen and yard. Her gentle spirit and determination make her an incredibly special soul. Both girls show mild anxiety and some uncoordinated movements, which are not uncommon in double merle pups. They get along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, cats, and respectful children. Due to their disabilities, they’ll thrive in low-activity homes with dog-savvy kids age 12 and up. Bernedoodles are known for their intelligence and affection, and these girls will need patient, committed families who are willing to work with professionals (such as trainers or behaviorists) to help them learn to communicate and feel secure. Q & Sal are: • 10 weeks old • Working on potty training (expect some regression in new environments) • Microchipped, dewormed, and have received the first two rounds of vaccines • Each adoption will include a 6-month spay contract and a refundable $250 deposit These girls may have challenges, but they are also full of potential, love, and that unmistakable puppy magic. If you’re ready to open your heart to a very special pup...

Story
Janey is a true beauty, both inside and out, and will be a loyal, loving companion for an adopter who is patient and understanding. She has adjusted wonderfully to her foster home and continues to reveal the depth of her kind heart. Though she may take some time to warm up to new people, once she does, her relaxed and carefree personality shines brightly. Janey loves spending time outdoors and enjoys chewing on nylabones. She is fully crate-trained and potty-trained, having come to her foster home already knowing both. While she can be inconsistent with commands—depending on her environment—she understands what’s expected of her, follows her routine, and knows her name. Janey thrives on affection and companionship once she’s built a trusting bond with her person. She’s also content to lay beside another dog. Janey gets along wonderfully with other dogs, often looking to them for reassurance. She walks calmly on a leash when accompanied by another dog, though she’s less confident when walking solo. Janey shares toys well and can eat peacefully alongside other dogs. Indoors, she has been an exemplary house guest. Her foster is happy to offer advice and support to her adopter as needed. For Janey to thrive in her forever home, we are looking for the following: Older, respectful children A fenced yard is preferred A patient and understanding adopter Another dog in the home is essential—preferably a confident, friendly dog (Janey tends to bond best with other females, but she gets along well with all dogs) A quiet neighborhood, as she is not suited to city living. Janey is part of our "Meet Me" program. This program allows potentially interested adopters to talk to the foster directly and/or meet the dog before deciding to adopt or put in an application. Just send an email to meet_me@mostlymuttz.org and her foster will be in touch!  Janey is heartworm positive and has begun treatment. Please dont let this scare you away - Heartworm is curable and is not contagious. For additional information regarding heartworm or the treatment, please email the rescue at mostlymuttz@gmail.com www.mostlymuttz.org Once you’re an approved adopter, your approval applies to any dog in our rescue that’s a good match for you. Story
hi Pluto, this good boy is a 2 1/2 month old mixed breed. He and 11 other dogs (3 of his litter mates) came to us from a private owner who became overwhelmed with unfixed dogs and had multiple litters of puppies. They reached out for help and we were glad to step in. Pluto and his litter mates are said to be Bernese, cavalier and border collie mixes . He is about 20 lbs right now. All the puppies are so sweet. While not surprisingly they came to us a but timid and shy, they are quickly learning and gaining their confidence. Under the loving care of our volunteers, they are blossoming and starting to show us their sweet personalities. They had no issues with handling. They would love families with another social dog to play with. He would need to meet any resident dogs. We will not be adopting siblings together. He will come neutered, with age appropriate vaccines and microchipped. If you are serious about adoption, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com His adoption fee is $525. Story
Veena is a 6 year old spayed female bernadoodle who weighs 62 pounds. She was rescued when her family was down sizing and wanted better for her. Veena has always been an outside dog, but she is loving the comforts of living inside such as her bed and warmth. Veena is a very good girl who walks on a leash, has tested great with other dogs and she is very easy going. She loves having the companionship of another dog and we would love to see her get adopted to a home with at leash one other dog. Story
Hey guys, it's me again, Finley! I introduced myself a few months ago when I came to Zoe's House Rescue underweight and asking for donations of special food and comfy beds. I'm a 6 year old male Newfoundland. Now that I've put on some weight, it's time to find my furever home. My foster family tells me I'm a really good boy. They would love to keep me, but you see, they have two little dogs I really want to play with and one that is a tad scared of me. I mean no harm, they just look like fun. My Berner foster sister is older than me, and she doesn't like playing either, so I'm stuck entertaining myself. I think I'd like a friend of medium size or larger, or just an active family that wants to take me on all their adventures, walks, and hikes. I have a few "old man" qualities for a bigger dog, like joint supplements, I need those. My allergies are pretty bad also, so I'll require some form of treatment for that (currently on cytopoint injections). Lastly, since I was really underweight and have now packed on about 30+ lbs, my belly gets upset easily. I'm eating a special diet, this might be for the next few weeks or life- we can't tell for sure. Aside from my medical thingys, I'm a super happy, well-behaved guy. I walk well on a leash, I potty outside, I play nice with others, I love kids, and I really just want to be loved and pet A LOT. Finley is neutered and had entropion surgery on both eyes that healed great. He's up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and is ready to find his people.
