She’s super lovable, gentle, and thrives on affection—if you’re looking for a dog who wants to be near you, Mia is your girl. She has that classic Berner charm: calm, friendly, and happy just being part of the family. Mia is dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs. She’s also crate trained and house trained, though—as with many dogs—some regression can be expected when transitioning to a new environment while she settles in. A fenced-in yard is preferred, as Mia is still a little nervous on leash and feels most comfortable having a safe, enclosed space to explore and relax. With patience and reassurance, she continues to build confidence. Mia would do best in a home ready to give her the love she gives so freely. She’s the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room, lean into you for hugs, and make your house feel like home.
