Story
This beautiful soul has been on an incredible journey, enduring a challenging stay at the shelter, waiting and hoping for a loving forever home. Despite his stunning looks and heartwarming personality, Apollo remained overlooked for months. He's a dog who's seen the worst of it yet still holds onto hope and love. Finally liberated from the confines of the shelter, Apollo's enthusiasm for life knows no bounds. His heart is filled with joy, and he's ready to share that boundless affection with a family who sees the gem he truly is. Apollo's a big boy with an even bigger heart. He adores the company of other dogs and revels in playtime. However, he thrives on structure, guidance, and plenty of activity. Smart as a whip, Apollo's intelligence and quick learning skills will astound you. This sweet boy, at around 3 years old and weighing between 60-65lbs, deserves a home that matches his spirit—a place with experienced, loving humans who understand the needs of a larger dog like him. Living in Houston, Apollo has bravely battled heartworm, a common challenge in these parts. But fear not, Scout’s Honor is ensuring Apollo receives the best care. Whether you choose to adopt him now or after he's cleared, we'll continue covering his medical expenses, ensuring he gets the care he needs. He's a fighter and with your support, he'll come out stronger than ever. If your heart swells at the thought of giving Apollo the home he dreams of, please consider fostering or adopting him. Start the journey by filling out an application at www.scoutshonor.org. Your love and compassion could be the key to unlocking Apollo's happily ever after. Story
Hi this is Augustus. Augustus is a Bernese mountain mix. The vets opinion is with Labrador or German Shepard. He is 2 years old, up to dates on vaccines, heart worm negative, and on heart worm prevention meds. He is neutered and microchipped. He does have a lot of energy and like a lot of attention. He loves car rides, and playing with his toys. He sleeps well in a crate for bed time with no issues. He does love walks and tries to chase squirrels. He can sometimes be a bit reactive to other dogs on walks but has never been aggressive. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. I hope to find him a home with love and patience.

Story
Maple is an absolute sweetheart. She came from an abusive background, chained and unloved, since puppyhood. We haven't had her long, but she has opened up so amazingly, showing off her wonderful, playful personality, in such a short period of time. We are currently hoping to either find little Maple an amazing forever home, or an awesome foster that's willing to take her on. She is completely up to date on all of her shots, including rabies, and microchipped. She did initially not understand that she wasn't supposed to potty inside, but within just two days, she quickly learned her foster siblings routine and mastered potty training with ease! The only thing we have yet to do is get her spayed, but that will be scheduled as soon as possible. If you would like to get to know this sweet girl, please don't hesitate to reach out by contacting us directly or filling out the form attached to our profile. We hope to hear from you soon! PS. Fee will be waved if you show proof of your own scheduled spay appointment.

Story
I adopted him at an animal shelter in Conroe,Tx. He is about 5 years old, very curious and happy demenor and he does the cutest head tilt. He knows the words outside food, water, potty, sit, shake, laydown, stop begging. He does have anxiety and attachment issues and never learned to play with toys or other dogs. He just wants someone to be by his side. I cant afford his grooming, dental, or food and I'm not able to spend as much time with him as I'd like. Im hoping to find someone with enough time and money to care for this baby batter then I could. He can also be pretty vocal, so he's a good guard dog! He loves exploring outside but wasnt desensitized to other dogs as a puppy, so he definitly will get exited when he sees another dog. Also, he is an inside dog!! I dont want this baby living outside. He has to eat authority dog food as well or he can get diaherria. He has anxiety meds for grooming and must get groomed by vets because of nipping.
