Hello, My name is Oliver and I am a 5 year old Great Pyrenees/German Sheppard mix. I am friendly with other humans and dogs (I can be shy at first). I am goofy and a great companion to others. However, I can be terrified of rain, thunder, and wind. I prefer to be in a cozy space where I can hear less wind. I also am scared of children. Though I am harmless to children, I would like to be away from them as much as possible. I am fine with the crate. I love to run and play tug of war. I know how to sit, stay, turn around. My current parents are unable to keep me in a crate all day due to their grueling work hours. Mom will be gone 12 hrs a day, dad will be gone for 2 days straight. Crating during their work days haven’t been ideal for myself or my parents. I would love a new home to parents who can commit more time and resources to me as I am ready for a new energetic and playful family.

Preference is for applicants to have some knowledge and experience with the Great Pyrenees breed. Specific information about the breed will be shared during the interview/virtual home visit. 5. Secure and visible fencing is required. In a very few cases, fencing options will be considered based on the specific needs of a particular dog. 6. Preference is for applicants willing to provide "positive" training to adopted dogs. 7. All current pets in adoptive homes should be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.
