Story
Volume is a Bernese Mountain/Miniature Poodle little girl. She is playful, outgoing and gives gentle kisses. She observes new surroundings first, and then cautiously explores them. She loves to chase with other dogs around the yard, drag small branches around, play fetch with a ball, and snuggle on her dog bed to play with her toys. Volume is quite attentive and already learned “Sit” and “Fetch”. She self-entertains, but likes to stay near her human for reassurance and cuddles. She is not shy around people or dogs, although she’s too eager and needs to learn how to socialize calmly with other dogs and small children. She has not met any cats. She will do well with an active family, with children, and with a yard. Volume sometimes curls up in her dog bed, but she likes to naps stretched out on the hardwood floor. She's full of energy so only takes short naps, and sleeps well at night. Volume sleeps in the pen at night with another dog and uses the pee pad there. She goes potty outside each morning and after meals. During the day, she roams in the living area and tends to go wherever it is convenient instead of on the pad, so she is still learning. Volume is used to being with another dog and might have separation anxiety at first, so lots of love and snuggling with her human will be good to ease her anxiety. She is good with other dogs and with children. She is food motivated, unless it's within an hour after meals, when she's full, she goes to play instead. Hopefully she will find her forever home soon. She will bring joy and happiness to any home. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Baby Cakes is currently in a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. -Baby Cakes came in with five siblings after being abandoned in the woods in late February/early March 2025. All of her siblings have been adopted and are thriving in their new homes. -She is a special case that will need a loving, very patient home. She is very shy and needs to feel safe and loved. You can see her disposition in the YouTube video attached. -Just turned 1 year old (January 1st) -Approximately 50-55 pounds -DNA testing shows she is 74% Great Pyrenees/18% Miniature Australian Shepherd/8% Boxer -Does great with other dogs large and small, would probably help her come out of her shell more. Small, yappy dogs stress her out. -Would do well with one-on-one attention -Best environment would be a quiet home. If there are children in the home, they need to be over 14 years old or so. -Needs an elevated bed or soft bed to lay on -Would need a fenced yard since she would be a flight risk (at least in the beginning when she's learning to trust her new family). Watch her video: https://youtube.com/shorts/cRBr78S6TkM See the rescue video when her litter was found: https://www.facebook.com/61556973118844/videos/641365195044815 Baby Cakes is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPPx3, Bordetella), has been dewormed and a fecal test, and on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $600, this is including all vetting above and transport cost. Please fill out this application FIRST if you'd like to adopt Baby Cakes: https://form.jotform.com/243134969050053 After filling out the application, email luckypawsdoghouse@gmail.com or text/call 580-257-0622 if you'd like. Story
Got Thor from Seattle animal shelter in hopes to train him to be a service dog for help with ptsd and autism. Have been working with a trainer for this and he has done really well. He has some aggression issues around other male dogs and issues trying to eat food and human poop off the streets which we also have been working on he is a very friendly and loving companion, but he is not suitable for service dog work. And do to me being autistic and having ptsd and need a service dog for this and the size of him is too much. We need to find him a home that is able to handle his weight when he does get triggered. Which has improved with the training he is in right now but the trainer has stated that he cannot be used for service dog work. I am ok continuing to foster him until we find a loving family for him to be a part of. He is allergic to chicken and salmon and is on a fresh food only diet from ollie that he really enjoys due to him being having stomach issues with most non fresh food.

Story
Cloud is a stunning Great Pyrenees with a soft, fluffy double coat. True to his breed, also known as a Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Cloud has a gentle and cozy exterior with a strong and protective inner nature. He’s not just calm and friendly—his gentleness comes from a deep-rooted confidence, as he believes in protecting those around him. Cloud has a sweet, peaceful personality, but don’t let that fool you. Beneath his calm demeanor, he has a firm sense of responsibility and determination to protect his surroundings. Though he’s a bit shy, you’ll quickly sense his trust and strength. Cloud is a high-energy dog, so he would thrive in a home with a large yard. He loves being active, playing, and running around. Daily outdoor activity is essential to keep him happy and healthy. He’s playful and enjoys both eating and having fun, showcasing his cheerful and innocent side. Despite his past, where he was abandoned at a shelter, Cloud is quick to warm up to new people. While he hasn't had much basic training yet, Cloud is highly intelligent, and positive reinforcement, such as treats, helps him learn quickly. He may pull on the leash during walks out of curiosity, but he’s improving with practice and guidance. Cloud is also great with other dogs, including smaller ones. He’s big in size but still exhibits the endearing behaviors of a puppy, which make him even more lovable. Cloud would be best suited for someone who understands the Great Pyrenees breed or enjoys large dogs and is looking for a companion to enjoy daily outdoor activities with. If you're ready for a loyal, loving companion and are willing to provide training and structure, Cloud will be a lifelong friend, offering deep love and trust in return.
