Anatolian Shepherd Carolina Dog

Female, 2 yrs 2 mos
Seattle, WA
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Hi, I'm Puma,I sure hope you are looking for a great young dog to help make your home complete. If that is so, then stop looking, you found her. I am pretty shy when I first meet new people but all I need is a bit of attention to build my confidence and I will shine. I don't live with children but I have been around them and I know to just stay calm and relax. I like dogs in my pack and I will play but I would prefer to chill out and relax. I am what you might call laid-back!When my foster family takes me out for a walk I stick pretty close to them because there are a lot of street dogs and they scare me a bit. It is much better when I walk with my pack. I don't have many toys but give me a nice marrow bone and I will be busy all day! Cats are not my thing, unless they like to be chased then I am all in.Oh did I mention that I love to swim? It is the best thing when we go to the beach and I get to play in the water. I'm in heaven then. The car ride there makes me a bit nervous so I don't look out the window or anything. I just wait until we are at the beach then I am fine.I am pretty good with my basic commands like Sit, Come and of course, come eat! I know I still have lots to learn but I hope my new family will be ready to teach me how to be the best dog I can be. If it sounds like we could be a match then fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.I am all yours,Puma To get more information go to and click on the dog's photo. Great Pyrenees Anatolian Shepherd

Male, Young
Seattle, WA
(when grown) X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
George will be three years old in July. I got him at 8 weeks old. Now he is around 120 lbs. We did puppy training classes when I first got him but around the 10th week of classes he started to become aggressive towards other dogs. The trainers told me to neuter him as soon as possible so I did but it did not change his behavior. I then sent him to a three week boarding/training facility and they recommend a shock collar. It helped for a short period of time. I think George is over stimulated living in the city and needs a different environment. I only have a fenced front yard so he is constantly upset at everyone who walks by. He can be so sweet and cuddly at times but he is mostly always on guard ready to protect. I am devastated to be rehoming him but I keep reminding myself it is the best thing I can do for George at this point.

Great Pyrenees

Female, Young
Seattle, WA
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Welcome Athena to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 2-year Great Pyrenees. She weighs about 90 pounds. She has a beautiful coat and the typical extra back toes commonly found in this breed. This is a guardian breed dog. They naturally will protect their flock or family. This breed will do best in a fully fenced yard as they will roam away if there is no fence. She is good with other dogs and will need some more leash work. She would be great with someone that knows the breed and loves it. She should have the natural tendencies of this breed. She had puppies and we adopted them out. We also adopted out the larger male that was found with her as a stray. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccines, healthy, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas anc can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email if you have questions. Online applications at See her cute video!!
