Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Koda! He is one of our long-timers and has been waiting with us for 3 years for his forever family! ❤️ He is a very smart, goofy and athletic 70lb, ~4 year-old pup with lots of playful energy. He loves to play fetch so he definitely is a Retriever mix - he looks like a large, black golden Retriever mix - but also has strong guard-dog characteristics and is part Newfoundland. He's not a herder or chaser - he does not seem interested in running off, or chasing bunnies, squirrels or bikes, though cats are afraid of him (and probably should be). He knows basic commands (sit, down, wait, stay, leave it, come, play, ball, food, etc) and learns new things incredibly fast. He loves playing with dogs, but plays quite physically vs chasing them. Koda is happiest when playing ball or when in close proximity of his one 'person'. He's loving and affectionate with 'his person' but being part of a busy family where people are coming and going is challenging for him. He will do best with a single, experienced dog owner, who has the physical space (aka yard/rural vs a townhome in a city), time, patience and energy to work with him. Koda will benefit from structure, stability and exercise - He loves to play and learns very fast. Koda is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
I have an interesting dog that I need to be rehome. Relocating this week. Woodrow is a 4 year old, 130# Malamute/Newfoundland, neutered and gastropexy. Shots are due in July. He is the sweetest guy and puts his head into your hands, he leans on you for love. He is currently guarding large breed goats. He will walk on leash / responds well to correction collar, knows tricks. Great around people , strangers, children over 5 because he is so big. He will let me cut his nails on my own. He will play with toys and do a little fetch. He’s particular about new dogs due to guarding the goats from the neighbors dogs. But I have integrated another with him before and it went well. Story
Meet Bolt! Bolt is a 2.5-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog with a heart as big as his fluffy frame. While he’s not quite ready for adoption just yet, he’s officially on the lookout for his forever home—and trust us, this sweet boy is going to make someone very lucky. Bolt is the definition of a gentle, easygoing companion. He’s incredibly friendly, loves attention, and has a calm, relaxed nature that makes him a joy to be around. His perfect day? Lounging on the couch, playing in the yard, cuddling with his dog friends, and sneaking in some snuggles with the cats. He’s lived successfully with both dogs and cats and would likely thrive in a home where he has companionship and space to relax and play. Bolt is potty trained, well-mannered, and brings that classic Bernese mix of playfulness and laid-back charm. Bolt does have one quirky habit—he has a tendency to try and eat rocks, so he’ll need a home that can keep a close eye on him outdoors and help manage this behavior. With a little awareness and supervision, it’s very manageable. If you’re looking for a loving, mellow, and affectionate dog to share your days with, Bolt might just be your perfect match. Stay tuned as he completes his final steps, his forever home is out there, and he’s ready to find it.

Story
Cloud | Male | 3 year 11 months old | Great Pyrenees Weight: Approx. 32kg Cloud is a stunning Great Pyrenees with a soft, fluffy double coat. True to his breed, also known as a Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Cloud has a gentle and cozy exterior with a strong and protective inner nature. He’s not just calm and friendly—his gentleness comes from a deep-rooted confidence, as he believes in protecting those around him. Cloud has a sweet, peaceful personality, but don’t let that fool you. Beneath his calm demeanor, he has a firm sense of responsibility and determination to protect his surroundings. Though he’s a bit shy, you’ll quickly sense his trust and strength. Cloud is a high-energy dog, so he would thrive in a home with a large yard. He loves being active, playing, and running around. Daily outdoor activity is essential to keep him happy and healthy. He’s playful and enjoys both eating and having fun, showcasing his cheerful and innocent side. Despite his past, where he was abandoned at a shelter, Cloud is quick to warm up to new people. While he hasn't had much basic training yet, Cloud is highly intelligent, and positive reinforcement, such as treats, helps him learn quickly. He may pull on the leash during walks out of curiosity, but he’s improving with practice and guidance. Cloud is also great with other dogs, including smaller ones. He’s big in size but still exhibits the endearing behaviors of a puppy, which make him even more lovable. Cloud would be best suited for someone who understands the Great Pyrenees breed or enjoys large dogs and is looking for a companion to enjoy daily outdoor activities with. If you're ready for a loyal, loving companion and are willing to provide training and structure, Cloud will be a lifelong friend, offering deep love and trust in return.
