Animal Profile: Paisley is a 20-month-old (DOB 7/16/2021) Bernedoodle purchased as an 8-week-old puppy from Pacific Doodles and lovingly raised in western Washington. Now 80 lbs she is spayed and done growing. She is friendly with other dogs of all shapes and sizes and hasn't met a stranger. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and fully obedience trained as well. Paisley needs a strong owner or owners willing to provider her with ample mental and physical stimulation; without, she becomes overly aroused and mouthy. While Paisley is great with small children, we would like to place her in a dog experienced adult only home or home with older children where she can get lots of attention without the distraction of little ones. More info to come as we get to know her in foster care.  Foster Update: Stay tuned for details. Adopter Profile: Large breed experience required No children 10 or under Other pets in home OK Willing to continue with balanced training * We will not respond to your application if you do not meet the above requirements * Adoption Info: Paisley's adoption fee is $550, which includes spay, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip with lifetime registration, and take home training session. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Animal History: Paisley joined the rescue on March 13,2013 as her owners could not provide her with a suitable environment for Paisley to be her best self, with three small children in the home. Paisley has been thoroughly vetted and trained with no expense spared in her care but needs more physical/mental stimulation and a less over-stimulating environment to be her best self.
