A Package Deal! Eddie age 16, and Charlie age 8, lost their Mom when she went to assisted living and couldn't care for them any longer. They are currently with our foster and are now ready for adoption. Although Charlie is fine without Eddie... Eddie really relies on Charlie and will cry if he is separated from him so we do not want to separate them so they are a "Package Deal" and need to be adopted together. They should be in a home with no other pets as Charlie... although is fine with other dogs outside of the home... in his own domain he can guard his food from other dogs... so best for them to be the only dogs living in the home. We understand that taking on a 16 year old dog may be a lot for someone so we are willing to cover vet bills for Eddie's life if you adopt both Eddie and Charlie together. Eddie has a some arthritis, and we had our vet give him a shot of Bedinvetmab (aka Librela) & some gabapenten for pain... He should only require 1 or 2 more shot in the next two months 28... and then he should be good. Already he is like a new dog! He is now jumping up on the couch when before he could bearly walk without stiffness. Amazing! Charlie is a real character and loves to cuddle with his humans. He can be a little possessive of his human if other dogs also want attention (another reason why he and Eddie should be the only pets in the home) . He likes going for walks or running around a fence in yard. This young lady is just a DOLL and everyone knows that SUGAR IS SWEET, so it's no surprise that she's as adorable as she is. When she's not busy being cute, Dulce loves nothing more than to run around and play with her canine companions. She’s VERY HAPPY GO LUCKY - A SILLY ENERGIZER BUNNY!! This little lady is good with other dogs and is always up for making new four-legged friends. She's a SOCIAL BUTTERFLY who just can't get enough of the dog park! She would love to go to a home with another young dog that has similar energy so she can PLAY PLAY PLAY and she has separation anxiety and will bark when left alone…so another dog would help alleviate that. She’s a bit nervous/scared of young kids so older kids ages 10 yrs+ would be better. She does bark at cats so best if there were NO CATS. DULCE is still a puppy and she needs someone/couple/family that can DEVOTE lots of TIME to give her the DAILY STRUCTURED EXERCISE and DISCIPLINE she needs. She needs further work on house training and leash training but she is crate trained. She’s also very nervous with strangers and will vocalize/bark at them so she needs more work on socialization. But if there's one thing that DULCE loves even more than playtime, it's snuggle time. This affectionate pup loves nothing more than curling up with her favorite humans and getting lots of pets and kisses. Bae Bae was surrendered to NorthStar when his owner could no longer care for him. This boy is a 2-year-old Bichon Frise/Poodle mix weighing 14 lbs. He's friendly and outgoing with people & gets along well with other dogs. Bae Bae is definitely crate trained & sleeps all night in his crate without a peep. He isn't completely housetrained as he does have accidents in the house. He goes potty outside but doesn't ask to go out. Because he is one of those little dogs with a loud bark, Bae Bae would not be an appropriate fit for someone who lives in an apartment or condo or any type of attached dwelling. Bae Bae has been socializing pretty well with the dogs in his foster home. He barks sometimes at them, but not in an aggressive way. He hasn't had any exposure to cats.  He does not bark at other dogs when walking on his leash. He walks very well on a leash even in a group of 4 dogs.   Bae Bae wants to be in the same room as his people because he knows that's the place to be! He’s curious when humans are eating but not aggressive.  He plays fetch and drops it nicely. Story

Duncan was only eight weeks old when we got him from a dog breeder in Pennsylvania. He is now six months old and exhibits typical puppy energy! He has finished six weeks of puppy training and responds well to his dog mama on commands like sit, down, wait, and stay. He's still very treat-driven but he's usually the brightest and easiest to pick up among his classmates in puppy class. As a Bichon Frise, he is very sweet and loves interaction with his humans a lot. He loves play, cuddle and of course a good belly rub! He loves aged cheddar and cottage cheese, and enjoys rolling his blueberries around before eating them ;-) Duncan is very playful around kids but might mistake their stuffed animals for his own. (Every night he sleeps with his stuffed dog.) We think he'll fit in any size of household, whether that's a best friend to one, or a family member to many!
