This sweet girl is named Carley. She is an 8-year-old, 20-pound Bichon Friese mix with a bit of sadness in her big eyes. You see, her owner has passed away and left her behind. She's a laid-back girl who is both house and crate trained. She loves affection, too. She promises that, although she'll need to be groomed periodically, she will reward you with all the love she has inside her. This girl deserves a loving home, one where she'll never be left behind. (posted 11/29/2, ME) Lower Fees: Adoption Fee: Adoption fees for Hope dogs, Seniors and those who have been in rescue for prolonged periods of time are reduced to $150.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $100.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. He’s crate-trained, does well being left alone, is learning outdoor potty habits, and faces bath time like a champ. Freddy's time as a stray and at a shelter has left him with some trust, confidence, and guarding issues, but like many young pups, he’s still learning about sharing and respecting boundaries. In the short time he's spent with his foster family, he has responded positively to his foster family's training to overcome his challenges. He’ll thrive with a patient, dog-savvy adopter who understands what it takes to build trust and is willing to continue guiding him as he grows into the best version of himself. I'm Abbie, and I'm the SWEETEST lap dog you will find! I'm a senior, easy going and quiet gal, which means I can live in an apartment, condo or townhome! Not only am I a chill gal, but I get along great with dogs of all sizes, people and likely cats. I'm just not bothered, in fact, I am a confident lady (not shy or timid). I do have one request though. I must be able to sleep in the big bed with my humans, sorry, non-negotiable!!! The weather is getting chilly, and I'm looking for that warm lap-human to keep me cozy.
