Story
He is kind and very playful. He loves toys and is friendly and very independent. He likes to cuddle under the sheets. Obi has a one-year-old Yorkiechon brother who have never been apart since the day they were born. They are deeply bonded — play together, protect one another, and truly find comfort in each other’s presence. Because of this bond, separating them would break their hearts. They are incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loving dogs with gentle souls and lots of energy. Watching them interact, you can see how much they rely on each other — it’s not just companionship, it’s family. Both boys completed two weeks of OFF LEASH K9 training, and they did very well. Like any training, it must be consistently reinforced at home to be successful long-term. They will thrive with an adopter who understands that training is an ongoing commitment and is happy to continue working with them—particularly if they choose to keep them together.

Story
I'm Abbie, and I'm the SWEETEST lap dog you will find! I'm a senior, easy going and quiet gal, which means I can live in an apartment, condo or townhome! Not only am I a chill gal, but I get along great with dogs of all sizes, people and likely cats. I'm just not bothered, in fact, I am a confident lady (not shy or timid). I do have one request though. I must be able to sleep in the big bed with my humans, sorry, non-negotiable!!! The weather is getting chilly, and I'm looking for that warm lap-human to keep me cozy. Please apply today if you are the one for me. Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee covers; please consider making a tax-deductible donation by visiting us at https://www.hattonanimalrescue.org/sponsor. Donations help us offset vetting, boarding costs, and additional medical treatments for dogs who need it. For more information on Hatton Animal Rescue, visit our website at: hattonanimalrescue.org.

Story
Mariah was adopted January 2026! Mariah is a sweet, affectionate little dog with a charming personality that’s impossible not to love. One of her most endearing quirks is the way she pirouettes as she walks, clearly delighted by the world around her. Mariah thrives on companionship and would be happiest in a calm home where she can enjoy plenty of attention, cuddles, and quality time with her people. She has a nice balance of energy and enthusiasm, enjoys going for walks throughout the day, and will occasionally treat you to happy zoomies. Mariah comes when called, knows how to sit, and is eager to please—especially when treats are involved—making continued training very achievable. Housetraining has been a breeze when she’s taken out promptly after meals. She’ll also let you know when she needs a daytime potty break. Mariah tolerates being crated and is comfortable eating in her crate, though she prefers having free access to the main living areas of the home. Mariah is hypoallergenic and requires moderate, regular grooming to keep her coat healthy and comfortable. If you’re looking for a loving, devoted companion and can offer a calm, caring forever home, Mariah may be the perfect match for you. Please complete an application to meet her! Story
Bippity and Boppity were surrendered together to a local shelter. HART scooped them right up. These two are super nice. They love belly rubs and are open to being touched and held. They LOVE attention! Boppity (the female) is a little more timid than the boy and patiently waits while he gets attention first. She is very pretty and feminine, smaller that him. At 2 years old, they are fully grown. Their foster say she gave them a nice blanket and 2 squeaky toys and they really seem to appreciate everything that they have. They can be adopted separately but Boppity may appreciate another dog in the home as she is always checking in with Bippity. Questions About this Animal? Story
Current Location: Hanover, PA Meet Squash: A Tiny Sweetheart Who Needs Your Patient Love At just 12 pounds and 7 months old, this little Shih Tzu mix is still very much a puppy navigating a big, sometimes overwhelming world. Squash is sweet, gentle, and curious, with a heart full of love for the people he trusts. Once he's comfortable with you, he loves to be held, stay near his person, and show you just how affectionate he can be. Squash has the energy you'd expect from a young puppy. He's extremely energetic and requires frequent activity, mental stimulation, and structured outlets to keep him happy and balanced. He loves to chew on his toys and toy bones, and a fenced yard would be wonderful for letting him run and burn off that puppy energy, though it's not a requirement. Here's what makes Squash special and what he needs: he's a little shy and nervous until he feels comfortable. New sounds, people, and experiences can feel scary to this tiny guy, and he needs a patient family who will support him as he learns that the world isn't meant to be frightening. He's working on meeting new people and can be wary at first, but he's always friendly. He just needs time and gentle encouragement. Squash is great at meeting new dogs and is very responsive to praise and food motivation with those he's comfortable with. Because of his nervousness and the fact that he's still learning about the world, a home without younger kids may be best. We're not sure how he'd react to children sharing his toys or moving unpredictably around him. This sweet boy needs someone who understands that beneath his concerns is a gentle soul who just wants to feel safe and loved. With patience, consistency, and compassion, Squash will blossom into the confident, affectionate companion he's meant to be. If you have the time and heart to help this tiny treasure find his courage, Squash is ready to trust you with his whole heart.

Current Location: Spring Grove, PA Hello! My name is Earl! I am a total love bug. I wiggle and waggle whenever I know you are near. When I hear a friendly voice I get very excited and happy.
