Story
Hi my name is Bosco.  I am a 6 1/2 year old Bichon Poodle mix who weighs 13 lbs.  My current mom adopted me in January but can no longer keep so I am now looking for my true forever home.  I don't get along with her older male dog.  I am great with my sister though.  It appears that I just don't like male dogs.  Coco and I have a great time together and pal around all the time.  If you have al little female dog about my age that needs a friend please consider adding me to your family.  I am a happy go lucky boy who loves people even children.  I love to play with my toys and to play with Coco.  I am also good at the groomer so you don't have to worry about that.  I am housebroken and I walk well on a leash.  Let me smile at you and you will see bright white healthy teeth,  I am neutered, current on all my shots and on maintenance for flea prevention and heart guard.  I am ready for my forever home.  Hopefully that will be with you.  To be considered for my forever home and to request an application please contact Vivienne directly at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Bosco is currently in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.) September 24, 2023, 2:00 pm

Hello! My name is Bailey and I am 10 years old, but I’m definitely a young guy at heart! I like to be with my people so I will need someone who will be home with me during the day. I also like my humans all to myself, so no other dogs please. I walk really well on a leash. I am house trained. I will follow you around the house and sit on your lap all day. Please consider adding me to your home!

My name is Riro and I’m part of the transport coming to OPH 9/22/23!I’m guessed to be a Bichon Frise/ Shih Tzu mix and estimated to be about 1 year old. I’m a sweet guy and I currently weigh about 12 lbs.I’m making my way up north in search of my new family. Is that with you? If so apply today! I won’t be available long! This pet is expected to arrive at an Operation Paws for Homes Foster Home soon. If you are interested in adoption, please submit your application so that you may be pre-approved prior to arrival. All pets must be granted a Health Certificate in order to cross state lines and come to the rescue. Obtaining the health certificate is largely dependent on veterinary resources at the originating animal shelter so some pets may not arrive as planned.

Story
Best friend Buddy is just that.  He is a happy-go-lucky little guy that does not meet a stranger.  He is good with dogs, cats, and people of almost all ages (no toddlers).  Buddy always seems to be smiling.  This sweet little guy will be an excellent addition to the right family.  Buddy would like a home with another same size and age dog, so he has a companion.  He would also like a fenced in yard as he is used to smelling around when he goes out to do his “business”. Buddy is housebroken (he whines to let you know that he needs to go out), doggie door trained, and he walks well on a leash.  Buddy loves his daily walks.  This little cutie also rides great in the car.  He just settles down and sits in the seat.  Buddy is the perfect co-pilot.  He would be a great companion for someone that would take him places.   Buddy is a very social guy.  He wants to be wherever you are, and in your lap if possible.  His foster mom has moved a chair beside her desk so Buddy can sit there.  He also has wiggled his way into sleeping right beside her.  Buddy would do best with someone who is home most of the time.  He is just happy to be with you.  He is 8-10 years old and he weighs 16 lbs.  Buddy has had some eye issues that went untreated by his original family.  He has had surgery and is now on eye drops both eyes for the rest of his life.  Poor Buddy also has a heart murmur and is on medicine for that. Buddy is well worth the added expense of these medicines.  And don’t forget that he needs to be groomed regularly.  The love you get in return for loving and taking care of Buddy makes it all worth while.   He has been neutered and is current on all his shots and microchipped.  To be considered for Buddy's forever home and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Buddy is currently in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.)September 24, 2023, 2:00 pm

Story
We got Phoenix's mum (Lucy) from a shelter where Lucy came in from an abusive situation. After a couple of weeks in her foster home waiting to get fixed we noticed she was getting bigger and knew she was pregnant. There was no male dog at the house she was taken from so we don't know who dad is. We are guessing a Jack Russell, mum is a Shih Tzu. We can't guarantee these babies are hypoallergenic with not knowing dad. We have done a few videos of mum and all the puppies on Facebook Dogingham Palace Rescue if you would like to look. Phoenix's is one of the smaller puppies. She is a very sweet energetic pup. We are planning a transport up north October 14th if you would like this baby brought to you. She will be fixed, micro chipped and have all her puppy shots. Mum is about 15lbs so we don't think she will be over that. All of us in the rescue have full time jobs as well as running the rescue so if you are interested in Phoenix please go to our website www.doginghampalacerescue.org for our application. Then email the application back to doginghamrescue@aol.com. The fees on our website are very out dated, we are waiting on the lady to update everything. Since covid hit, it is hard to get into vets offices and prices have gone way up. The adoption fee and transport fee is explained below. We are based in the Nashville, TN area and have most of our dogs transported up north. The $500 adoption fee does not include the transport fee. The transport fee is $225, so a total of $725. The transport fee is not refundable if things do not work out.
