Since arriving at her foster home, Betty was vaccinated, dewormed, was tested for heart worms with a clear test result, spayed, and a hernia repaired. If you ask Betty, that’s enough of that! Betty lives in her foster home with a big dog, 2 little dogs, and a cat that thinks it’s a dog. And Betty loves them all. Betty would do well in a home that has a playful companion dog. Since Betty did not have any prior human socialization, she is not yet comfortable around people. She’d rather hang out with dogs and easygoing cats. For that reason, her family will need extra patience and lots of love to show Betty while she learns how wonderful people can be. Older children who can respect Betty’s need for space while she adjusts to her new home would be best. Betty will need a fenced yard, but no electric/underground fences. Bentley and Princeton, two bonded 3-year-old Maltipom/Bichon brothers currently available for adoption through Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue. As they are closely bonded, they must be adopted together. About Bentley and Princeton: - Sex: Neutered males - Weight: Bentley (9–10 lbs), Princeton (12 lbs) - Appearance: Bentley is black and white; Princeton is cream-colored. - Temperament: Both are friendly and get along well with other dogs. They are suitable for homes with children aged 8 and up. They both enjoy sleeping in bed, though Princeton may take a little longer to acclimate as he is skittish, but he has come a long way. - Activities: They love running after each other in the yard, and grooming each other. Playing with toys and chewing on their favorite treats like bully sticks, yak sticks, chicken feet, and turkey feet. Adoption Requirements: - Fenced Yard: A secure fence is required. Princeton initially attempted to jump a 5-foot fence, so a safe, enclosed space is necessary. These two cute brothers are currently being fostered in Mount Pleasant, WI.
