We can no longer properly care for Pj and just want to provide him a good home.

I bought Teddy for my boyfriend who has Alzheimer in June 2024. I thought he would benefit from the comfort and cuteness of a puppy and for the first year, everything was good. But now, because of his declining condition, he can no longer handle the energy a young dog brings. Teddy gets along with everyone and loves other dogs and children. He is super sweet and friendly and only barks for protection. The ideal family would have a stay at home, mom and children over the age of three. He loves to travel and loves the outdoors and is often off leash at dog parks, and other safe areas to run. He is very smart and a good listener, but has not had any professional training. He is housebroken and does go on potty pads if necessary. He has been a wonderful pet and I am very sad to have to rehome him, but it is for the best interest of not only my boyfriend but for Teddy too.
