Hey there! I’m new to Rescue Gang.I just arrived and I'm still getting settled in. The team is taking time to help me feel safe and learn all about my unique quirks and personality.Since Rescue Gang is a foster-based rescue, most of us live in private homes. That means you’ll need an approved application to chat with my foster and learn more about me.If you’re interested, email adopt@rescuegang.org to apply to ask questions. I can’t wait to meet my future family!DATCP #483538

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs! To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info!   ***I am able to go home to my forever family right from transport!! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on May 1st and arrive on May 2nd, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 3/28/26 Dog Name: Prince Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Maltese/Schnauzer Mix Approximate Age: 1-2 years Approximate Weight: 25 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Neutered Description: Prince was on the euthanasia list in a small town Texas municipal shelter, we couldn’t let that happen! This sweet boy will be getting a groom and pampered as it’s evident he has been neglected with his poor matted coat. This boy deserves a better life and he is hoping to find his new forever in WI! He is great with other dogs and does good with kids (shy at first but warms up). He will need a family who will cherish him and show him what love looks like!! Adoption Fee: $550We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. April 7, 2026, 11:47 am

Updated: 3/28/26 Dog Name: Benny Blanco Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Maltese Mix Approximate Age: 9-10 years Approximate Weight: 6.5 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Neutered  Description: This tiny guy was dumped out in the county, so matted and sad. He was looking for help and made it to a nice family’s home who called our TX rescue partners! This lucky baby turned out to be such a dream. He knows how to use a doggy door & loves to sleep in bed with his people. He is showing his age a bit—he will be on heart murmur meds (out of precaution- no ailments at this time), he also will get a dental cleaning in TX as his poor teeth need help. He was neglected and we want to make sure this guy forgets everything he has been through! Benny is great with other dogs, cats, and kids but he prefers kids who like to relax and cuddle as he is not a fan of rough play at his age. He is so adorable and knows some basic commands and his new name! Story
Offering Foster to Adopt: ☆Jack☆ Born October 17th, 2020 (he's 5 years old) Mixed breeds of Maltese, Shitzu, Schnauzer, Yorkie Weighs 14 lbs. Seen at Kenosha Lake Shore Veterinary Clinic Jack is housebroken, well potty trained, but is crate trained for when left home alone, or at least confined to one room. He is leashed every time when taken outside to go potty. He is not accustomed to a fenced in yard so he is not let off leash outside at all, but he would probably LOVE to have free reign in a fenced in yard. Jack loves the outdoors. Jack has been good with other dogs, he has NOT been around cats so I'm unsure of his temperament with cats. Jack has been raised around kids, but does get anxious around a lot of noise. He may benefit from being in a home with older children rather than young children. Jack likes car rides, attention, belly rubs, walks, naps, food, and exploring. He is a natural born scavenger and will eat strange things if he's able, so keep garbage, kleenex, and q-tips out of reach from this silly little furball! Jack does NOT like toy guns (nerf, or any such likeness), being touched while he is eating, getting his nails cut, too much loud noise (he barks at our vacuum). Jack does not like sleeping in his own bed, he prefers to sleep in your bed if you allow it, or possibly a couch or comfy chair. Located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Adoption Application and Foster Agreement can be completed at www.tinypawssmalldogrescue.org if interested in Jack. Questions please contact Vicki at (262) 496-9324. Adoption Fee $550.

Story
Meet Violet. Violet is a 4 year old (5 in Oct.) Maltese. She spent her first 4 years being used for breeding, and was recently released to Tiny Paws to start her new life. My dogs are showing her the ropes, and she is adjusting to life indoors very well. She uses a potty pad, if needed, but has been very good about going outside with the other dogs. Only has 💩 accidents, overnight. But still on the pad (or at least mostly). The first night home, she stayed in one spot, near the door, on the cold, hard floor. The second night, I took her to bed with me, and now she stays there most of the time. She learned quickly, a soft bed is way better than the floor. 🥰🐾 I believe she would do best with adults only. She may be okay with older kids, but loud noises and quick movements make her nervous. She’s learning that hands are meant for pets, not pain, and she loves it when you scratch her head behind her ears. Violet will require a fenced yard, and someone who is patient enough to allow her to blossom. I believe she would do best with another dog in the home, to help teach her how to be a normal dog. (Not a mill dog) She’s come a long way in just a few days, and I think she will settle into her new life just fine. She’s very sweet. Located in Union Grove, WI with Heather nanashome71@gmail.com.
